For me the big difference is Samuel, the rental manager. He made my family feel as if we are part of his family. I have used enterprise a lot in my life and all agents are good but Samuel is par excellence so far. Of course, I like kayaks great rate as well.

We were served quickly, the car was clean and really comfortable. The staff was unavailable for our drop off time but they provided a key drop. The kiosk is right in the airport, and the cars are parked a short distance from the front door. Overall it was a great experience. we would definately rent from them again.

I had booked a minivan and was given a SUV which could not fit the luggage that we had brought from overseas. Secondly, National charged us twice for the rental and I have been following up with National to refund the additional payment that they have charged me (CAD 1,711). This has yet to be resolved. Request Kayak team to help me resolve this issue please. Thanks, Farhan

I made an error with the pick up location. Unfortunately I had clicked Abbotsford but we flew into Vancouver. I understand that this mistake sits with me and the money was not refundable or transferable but the thrifty service desk at the Vancouver airport were not helpful at all and were laughing amongst themselves at my mistake. After a 14 hour flight I was exhausted and shocked at their lack of professionalism. Due to their lack of guidance I ended up booking another car through Avis who were very accommodating.

I had booked my rental early on the day I picked it up. When I got to the Thrifty counter, they had no record of it. Thankfully I had printed out my rental agreement. At first they said they didn’t have a car for me, but then one was returned while I was at the counter so they gave me that one. It was bigger than what I had asked for so I was a little hesitant to drive it at first, but it all worked out ok. The gentleman who served me was super friendly and very helpful with the rental return details.
