All of the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

With a one-way rental, we had never been to the Stena terminal before and on google maps it’s very confusing where the Hertz return location is. Even after phone confirmation with the Hertz rep on site we were unsure where to park because there are ZERO signs that say car rental, Hertz, etc.

The car was compact, comfortable, and clean. Overall it was the right car for our vacation. At Glasgow airport Hertz, the younger woman at the pick-up and drop off was very nice and helpful, regardless of the trouble the other member of staff made.

Although we called ahead to Hertz in Glasgow from Dublin airport about switching our pick-up location (due to delays and missed flights) which would be "no problem at all", they seemed to have nothing available when we got there. When they finally found a vehicle similar to our initial order, we felt like there were A LOT of added/hidden costs. The person helping us out was rude, and we seemed like an inconvenience. When we got to the car at the lot, about to load it, another member of staff claimed we were taking the wrong vehicle (which we were not) and continued to the lot-office to check. I later followed as we didn't understand what the issue was. Other staff also didn't understand what the problem was, so after some deliberation on her side she exclaimed "whatever, just tell her it's fine... Just let them take it!" Some of the staff should've handled the situation better by communicating with both the colleagues and clients. The explanation of the rental agreement should not be done rudely, and the pick-up/drop-off staff member handled the situation quite poorly.

The car was clean, the selection of makes was really nice - BMW/Volvo/Mini, etc. Unlike the Avis/Budget, there were no hidden charges, either.

Driving on the other side of the road than I'm used to? Seriously, there weren't any major hassles. The charges were explained fully from the beginning, so there wasn't anything unexpected.

Booking was easy. Car pick up was a nightmare. The Marriott was hard to find and far from the airport. Booth was in a hallway closet in the Marriot. Registration was complicated and needed to happen online on a portal device provided by the clerk. Needed to scan documents with my phone and submit them online (just showing them license and passport wasn't enough). Hidden fees included CDW, and a 1,500 pound collision deposit. Payment was complicated and involved a third party "WorldPay" link, which in the end did not recognize my credit card. We left after nearly an hour or paperwork without a car.

Very poor customer service. The young man who served us was not happy we were early. It was difficult to send a message to change our pick up time. He eventually said he could do it but we would have to wait. Denying insurance was difficult. Proof that our credit card company covers rental car insurance was needed. LUCKILY I BROUGHT THE PAMPHLET FROM AM EXPRESS!! We were not given any papers just told it would be sent by email. Drop off was a drop box. No confirmation to tell us everything was ok after drop off. Took pictures and video just in case needed!!! It was cheaper to rent with them, BUT for a reason. I would definitely not use Easyrent again. Pay a bit more with a more reputable company!

Great see ice on pick up. Low tyre pressure warning within 5 mins. Spoken to very disrespectfully on drop off. Charged full amount even though returned car 8 days early. Beware of the terms and conditions. There is no early exist with these bandits.

When I arrived, I was informed that the prior customer had returned the car wrecked and there was no other car available for me to drive. There was also no other rental car available at any other rental company nearby. Needless to say, this caused major havoc for my intended vacation plans (which involved driving to 3 other cities in the area), and ended up costing me 3x as much on trains/buses and having to change plans for hotels. One of the guys at the customer service desk did his best to help (allowing me to use their phone for international calls, etc.), while shortly after the other kicked me out of their small waiting area, where I was using wifi to rearrange my plans, because other customers were on their way in. I won't be using them again.
