Convenience for picking up and dropping off vehicle at airport.
The whole experience was terrible!!! :( First, when I arrived, he told me he does not have a seven seater available became they were fully booked and will have to give me a smaller car. I refused and I showed him my reservation which was made months in advance, he then said he will see what he can down. Twenty minutes later, the other guy came back from the lot and said he will upgrade me to a Mercedes-Benz Vito (which I booked in the first place). Then, he tried to up-sell me insurance when I clearly told him that I am not interested and that I have already purchased it. He then said that my insurance does not cover everything (without even looking at what coverage I had) and try to further sell me insurance. The associate than became arrogant and rude when I refused to buy insurance (so he could make commission off me by forcing it down my throat). When we went to the car lot, they gave a very high mileage Vito and a ton of scratches and dents. I had to take several photos and a video of the damage to make sure he does not charge me when I return to vehicle. He very furious about this and told me not to worry, that he had made all the notes of the damage (but who can trust this man). I asked him how to open the trunk; he said he does not know, he did not even try to help me. He gave also me a ticket and said when I returned the vehicle I will need the ticket to get back into the lot. However, once we exited the lot, the machine takes the ticket and opens the boom gate, it does not return it. After driving for approximately 30 minutes, the service light came on. In addition, throughout the trip, the engine sounded like an airplane taking off, I don’t know when last Budget Car Rentals serviced this vehicle. I don’t know where Budget employees these sort of people and how they train them. Next time, I will go with EUROPCAR or AVIS or any other car rental company that appreciates my money and treats me like a customer. I will also inform everyone I know about my unpleasant experience and inform them to use another company!
