Cheap Car Rentals in South Valley, Albuquerque

We made a reservation and have an expectation that the reservation will be ready when we arrive. It took over 2 hours to get the car we reserved after we arrived at the Thrifty counter; UNACCEPTABLE! After we were finally called to get the car, we said that waiting so long was not something customers should be subjected to and that telling us that the wait would only be 20 minutes was done to keep the customer from gong to another rental company. The agent said if we were not happy that we could rent elsewhere. Also, the window film was so thick hat we had to pull over to clean the inside of the windshield ourselves. Lastly, Thrifty reported the gas tank as full, however, the tank was 3/4 full. Lies and poor service unlike any other auto rental experience I have ever had.

Closed at 10 pm. This could be better publicized. Car was comfortable. Drop off easy.

Pick-up ay Thrifty could have gone better. After over two hours of waiting for our reserved car I was referred to their manager at Hertz who took care of this immediately. If this had occurred from the onset It would have been an "Excellent" fating overall.

Everything was great. The vehicle was very expensive. I would love to rent it again in the future but probably won't.

Easy pickup at ABQ airport, agent was friendly and helpful. A bit surprised that the vehicle was a 2019 model. Not an issue, car was fine, just expected a newer vehicle. Drop off in Santa Fe was a bit difficult. The Hertz office is inside a hotel parking garage. We had the address, but there is no outside signage indicating that Hertz had an office inside, and no mention on our paperwork. Luckily the desk clerk at our hotel knew where the Hertz return was located.

Like. Vehicle was clean and ran well. Dislike. Return signs could have been better placed

Easy to stop off my rental, lady at the counter was super friendly and provided so many details regarding my car.

They charged me a whole extra day of insurance for one extra hour and were very unclear about this. Felt like a scam

The car was not clean to say the least. We were very uncomfortable with a dirty car. It was dirty inside and out. We couldn’t go back to tell them at the counter because we were exhausted. We took the dirty car.
