I had rent a car from 1pm. Turns out the location closes at 1pm. Right on the dot. When I arrived at 1.01, there was no one to be seen and no phone number to call. There was no attempt made to contact me to see whether I was on the way. Very poor customer service.
Exactly the car expected. Pickup was great. Nick in west Amsterdam was so cool, even shared our travel photos with him! Drop off at airport was a breeze.
Do not book Sixt through Kayak! I booked it then when I called Kayak to change drop off location was told I needed to cancel and rebook. I said ok and then was told I needed to rebook via VENMO funds because Kayak workers could not process credit cards due to Covid/working at home. Further, I was informed that unless I Venmo funds as directed I would forfeit deposit on original booking. Sounded like a scam. Now contesting fraud with credit card company. Lesson: book directly with Sixt (which I did and the rental was fine — avoid problems by booking direct.
Was helped by Marius. What a helpful guy. Got a free upgrade to a A5 from intermediate. Car still very expensive though

I rented a fully electric car, the service was great and i had no issues getting my car and receiving a fully charged car (I was expecting a fully charged car tho). However charging the electric car has been an issue, the car charged once but didn't want to charge anymore, I ended up with no battery and had to drop off the car 1 day earlier and call off my trip earlier.
