Everyone was friendly and helpful, they upgraded us to an suv free of charge since they didn’t have our reserved car which worked out well for the long drive in adverse weather conditions. Overall very happy experience!

Hertz location was permanently closed when I arrived for pickup! Received no communication from Hertz or Kayak that location had closed. Paid in full when booked and was not able to get another vehicle from any other car rental service.

When we arrived to pick-up our car from the Appleton, Wisconsin Hertz rental agency on 8/19/21, we were informed that Hertz had packed up and left on 8/13/21. They never contacted us to indicate what had occurred, either by phone, text or email. Our daughter was getting married on 8/21/21 and we did not have a car. We paid for the car, tried contacting them by phone, email and on their website. NO LUCK. Now, we are trying to get our money back. What happened to Hertz? Only Hertz knows and they aren't telling.

I liked the roominess of the vehicle. The ability to connect my Android device to the HUD via bluetooth or USB was very helpful.

I don't love the RAV4's Ecoboost(?) feature. It felt like the car stalled at every stoplight, and the gas pedal wasn't very responsive then would jump after pressing hard.

Rented car through kayak and had a check box for insurance. But turned out that the insurance was not through the car rental co. Not some 3rd party

I will be careful now and add the Insurace At the company site. Don’t fall for this.

The staff was very helpful and friendly at pick up and return. The car was very clean and, because the staff had recommended a slightly larger car due to the bad weather, safe.

I entered into the website that I needed a car from the airport and it directed me to an offsite location where I had to spend $30 on an uber to get to the car. I asked to switch to that location and they then said it would cost $300 more. If someone asks for airport pickup don't send them 10 miles away!

The staff was very friendly and I loved that they did the inspection with you. They were also very accommodating with the mix up in the price given.

My confirmation said I would be paying $18.70 including estimated taxes and fees. I called ahead to ask some questions and was informed the rental showed as $38. The staff was able to accommodate my booked rate. Not sure why there was a price discrepancy.
