I rented a Challenger and the brakes were worn. When I took it back to enterprise they told me they could put me another vehicle (truck)or I could go get the brakes fixed and have it billed to them. Because it was a sports car we kept it. AAA had to approve the brake repair and after 45 minutes of waiting at the brake shop, we still didn’t have the approval. So my husband walked a half mile to enterprise to get a different car. It was not a great experience. 😡

My problem is with Kayak, not Enterprise. I requested a car from the airport. Kayak rerouted my request to a car rental 26 miles from the airport. luckily, Enterprise contacted me the day before so I could make other arrangements. Thumbs down, Kayak.

I got to Asheville airport and was told I did not have a confirmation. I am a Hertz member as well. I showed the two people at the desk my reservation and gave her my confirmation number. She said she could not find it. She said I would have to drive a Ford F150 if she did give me a car. I told her no problem, then she said she couldn't help me. They were AWFUL at the desk. Luckily, the man at the desk sent me to Alamo and they were polite, helpful, and gave me a much, much better experience. I just rented from Hertz in Apopka, Florida last month and the experience was excellent. Asheville, I can say I would be hard pressed to ever attempt that badness again, if for nothing else than not wanting to engage with your agents again. They were not very nice. The woman was particularly snippy and grumpy.

This site reserved me a rental and took part of payment even though actual rental location was out of cars. I got charged but was stranded without a vehicle. Won't use this site again nor will I encourage others too

The man that handled the rental was nice and professional but was put in a horrible position by having no help and was taking about 20 minutes with each client and there was a long line. Seemed that most of the passengers from my flight rented planes. It was a very long exhausting wait in line. There was no one there to show you how to even use the vehicle or do a walk around.

The car smelled like "pot" and was not cleaned prior to rental. A previous renter had driven the car over 100 mph. The gas tank was not full with 294 miles left on the tank. I returned it with over 350 miles left in the tank. I mentioned the above items to the agent receiving the car and was told there was nothing she could do to correct the issues.

We entered Asheville AIRPORT into the Search Box. When we got there the car was at Asheville DOWNTOWN. A 25 dollar and 30 min uber ride away. Not sure how this happened, but it was a show stopper since we had to return the car at Oh-Dark-Thirty to catch a 0600 flight. The lady at AVIS at the airport was FAB FAB FAB and hooked us right up with a car at the airport for almost the same price. Be very wary of the location of your car.

Made reservation over 24 hours in advance. Adjusted pick up time by 30 minutes the day we were to pick up the car. Because there was a change to the reservation, they said they could not honor a same-day reservation, despite the fact I made the original reservation the day before. If not for a helpful human at Enterprise, my fiance and I would have been stranded. Will be avoiding Thrifty at all costs and would advise you to do the same.
