Firstly the were not transparent about any extra fees. Secondly, they were not on time. Thirdly, they don't have a good inventory. Overall terrible experience. You're better off walking than renting with these people

I didn’t like anything about the experience. There were no cars available for rental at any Hertz location which was a waste of time and energy. The company reps refused to assist me with contacting other locations for availability. I was able to finally obtain a rental from Enterprise and will just stick to them in the future because although they were out of cars they actually contacted me to get me set up with another location that had a car in stock for me.

I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I did not forsee a delay in my travel for a mechanical failure to the airplane when I made the reservation two weeks in advance. After explaining that to the Hertz employees and leaving to find alternative transportation I was given a rental car. I would not recommend a rental from this location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The rental smelled like someone had been smoking in it for a long while prior to my rental. It wasn’t too bad, though, and the car was otherwise very comfortable.

The lady at he airport rental in Baton Rouge was vwry helpful.

The location said "on airport" for pickup however was a 30 minute drive from the airport.

Return was easy

I used the airport code to find a car. Booked economy. Got to the airport to pick it up and they told me I booked it off site and that location was already closed. (Why would it let me book the car if I was booking when the location was closed?) So the airport said they could only get me a full size and I would have to pay for a full size. According to the employee, this happens to people a lot. Unacceptable. Not using Enterprise again. Haven't received email receipt.

For the drop off at thr airport, no one was at the counter from 8:30 - 9:00am. I had to leave the key in the lock box with a note. The car had a smoke smell and made my clothes smelled weird. It was muddy on the outside and when picking up the car there was no one to talk to about the condition of the car. I had to get on my way, so I left.

The employee came out covered in sweat, gunk all over his shirt, pants falling off. He wasnt the most pleasant person to deal with and asked me for a copy of my insurance. NEVER in all my history of renting cars have I ever experienced this. I travel for work 2.5 weeks out of every month getting rental cars all over the global and have never had this. I don't have a copy of my declaration page on hand with me so I was forced to pay an extra $31 a DAY. Unbelievable but I had no choice since I needed the car asap

I had a reservation weeks in advance. When I got off my plane at 10:30pm, they had no cars left!!! I was stranded. Terrible company. This is the 2nd time I’ve had a reservation with budget not honored. I will never use budget again.

I’ve been online and did ExpressCheck in. When I arrived, I had to wait in line, which was fine, except that there was no privacy for discussions about money, and the person in front of me are very upsetting experience. I did finally reached the counter and ported that I had already checked in through Xpress and paid, the staff person told me that I had not paid that I had simply entered the information. He then charged me. I now have two charges on my credit card of two fees from two separate agreements. I also see that the receipt I got was for one price, $77 I don’t my credit card I still see the deposit charge of $200. All toll I have a charge of over $500 for a car that was supposed to cost me $77 for 24 hour period. I fully expect to get the deposits back because the car was in good shape and the attendant at the New Orleans airport and drop off, the nicest person in the whole process, told me everything was fine. So yes got a good experience.

The pickup process was very quick and the vehicle I was given was very clean and nice. The drop off process was very quick and easy as well which was just what I needed. The only thing I would change was the price but I know the prices will increase when you drop off at at a different location

It was much cheaper to book off site from the airport, so I had to take LYFT both ways, but it was worth it. The only problem is that the office closes at 6. My flight was late. I called to say that I might be late, and I was told that they would not stay open past 6, even if it's by a few minutes. I was in a panic as my flight was late. I made it with 10 minutes to spare. Apart from that, the check in and check out for the car was easy. The car was good, too.
