I thought there was an actual Sixt office at the airport in Beirut but there wasn't. We had to call and meet the guy in the downstairs parking lot and had to sign all the paperwork on the hood of the car. That wasn't particularly professional and made for a lot of issues and potential to loose things. Plus I couldn't get a receipt when I turned in the car. I don't love that.

Very expensive for that kind of economic car. Found better and cheaper. Insurance more expensive than rental. does not worth it

Vehicle had 67,000 km - too much for a rental. Car was not clean or well maintained. Tail lights were broken with red tape keeping them together. Headlights needed adjustment and didn’t provide good visibility. Car needed body work and had many scratches. Interior was very dirty. Brakes squeaked. Hub cabs were damaged.

Very courteous staff. Walked around the car with me to inspect it before I took it. Called me a few hours before drop off to ask for the time I was planning to return the car in order to meet me. I did not have to return it to any parking. They just met me in front of the airport and took the car from me.

The price was ok.

The brakes weren't working properly. The tires were not safe to drive, and should be replaced. The steering wheel vibrates on high speeds. The car's power outlet didn't work, so i couldn't charge my phone while driving.

I rented this full SUV vehicle but got shorted since the back seats would not fold or operate. The Avis tech tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. They promised that they will find me a replacement vehicle and replace the once I rented withing couple of hours. They never even called. I was stuck with this care for the whole week and AVIS-Beirut refused to discount the rate when I returned. It is a big ripoff operation.

We rented a bigger car (accenture or similar) to fit our bags and ourselves, when the booking went through and saw kia picanto, we thought it had to be a mistake, at the counter we were told it was in fact a kia picanto since they dont have the other one. Told us to pay more for a bigger car.
