Staff were excellent and very helpful. Good small car...just what we wanted Free drop off at our hotel after returning car

1. we were not told that AVIS would collect us from our nearby hotel to pick up the car. Why was that? Instead we paid around £15 for a taxi! 2. AVIS insisted that they did not recognise our private car hire insurance with Questor and had to pay $16 per day for AVIS insurance. I wish to complain!

Kamarley tried to overcharge me. My two weeks res. Was for $531.24. Upon arriving I gave him the reservation number and he confirm my name and that I had it booked for two weeks and I declined all extras. He then said my total is $700.00, I asked for a breakdown of the price (never got it)

They will try to overcharge you and when you refuse to pay more than your reservation rate, they make you wait for hours before you get a car.

The agent who eventually worked with us tried to make the process smooth after the initial confusion.

Flight arrived in Kingston at 5am. Went to booth I airport told the office where we need to get our van does not open till 8am. The agent told our group of 6 we need to find our way to the other Hertz office. She said no ride could be provided to the alternate location. We had to get a cab from the airport with our luggage to another location then wait until 8:30 for an agent to arrive. No receipt yet so not sure what the charges are
