Pick up at the airport and drop off were all very quick and efficient. staff were great and fast. Expect an upsell for the insurance. Car was great (we got an I30). Should ensure you know where the petrol stations are before dropping car back as the closest ones are a couple of kilometers away! It wasn't until we got our confirmation email that we understood that picking up the car was going to be 6km away and that we would have to catch a free shuttle bus from the airport. This would have been good to know upfront at the time of booking. Whilst it wasn't inconvenient it was a surprise. It is better business practice to disclose the company you are hiring from too, Overall we had no issues with our transaction.

From the very beginning to end. our experience was perfect. The ladies at Apex Brisbane were very hospitable and professional. Picking us up from the airport in a very clean and tidy van, paper work was quick and easy. We felt very well taken care of. I will definitely be using them again and will highly recommend them to family and friends as well. Despite Alamo/Enterprise's claim that they have a rental counter at Brisbane International Airport, they do not. They let you book and then 4 or so hours before your flight lands they send you an email that the counter is closed due to covid and make you head over to the domestic terminal to collect your car. Not practical and against current international arrival covid management regulations (can't travel on public transport)

Easy pick up and drop off at airport

Exterior of car was dirty and tires needed air, had to demand a new car after we looked at the car and saw the wheels bowing out from lack of air. Terrible customer service, dodgy insurance eg claims you have rediculous excess to pay even if you aren’t in fault of any damage to the car, even if it’s fault of another driver.

The original lady i spoke to at Hendra was excellent. However had to make several calls to get advice on repairs to puncture i had recieved. Phone Brisbane office which then transfers you to Hendra where you have to wait lengthy waits at both places. Very frustrating.

The actual cost was more than i expected in fact double because of insurance costs. Plus i had half a day getting a puncture repaired as tyre dealers didn't have the unusual size that Hyudai have put on there latest cars.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We decided we wanted to extend another day and called a few hours before we were due to return and Alpha were happy to add another day on at the same price - no excessive charge which was great. No complaints about the car either, great condition and very economical which helped with the overall expense of hiring a car!

The pick up / shuttle service is a little clunky and adds time on to the overall exchange but it’s worth it for the cheaper price you get for shopping a little further a field.

More friendly service when we dropped off the car. One of the staff was unfriendly to customers when we entered the place. The bus driver dropped us off at the wrong airport terminal. When he dropped us off we thought we were at the international terminal, but we did not realize we were dropped off at the domestic airport. He did not tell us. I really think Alpha Car Rental staff need to be more helpful and friendly to foreign customers who are not familiar to Brisbane.

After drop off they sent me an email saying their was damage to the vehicle and that they were going to make a claim however when questioned they then changed their mind due to the information on file.

I booked the premium car three months in advance - they didn't have one when I arrived. They offered either a large gas guzzling SUV or a Camry. I took the Camry, and they refused to give me a lower rate. End up paying hundreds of $ more than I should have for the 3-week rental, but it was 5:30am after a 14 hour flight and I wasn't about to go shopping elsewhere.
