I didn’t realize that I was renting the car in “downtown” St George! I thought I was picking it up at the airport as I had on my previous trip. This caused me to search for an Uber which cost me an additional $50 from the airport and then another $50 from downtown where I dropped off the car to get me back to the airport. I may have missed something on the site? But maybe that is something that you could make a little more clear during the online rental process. I did try to get a car at the other rental companies at the airport and none of them had anything available

Kia Sportage was a competent car for 1000 miles on our trip. We arrived at St George airport to discover our cat was at the in-town Enterprise location. I called from the airport to confirm as I knew we would be later than their 2pm closing. I was told they would wait but it was all shut down when we arrived at 215. We had to Uber back to the airport where Hertz rented us a car from Saturday to Monday( the next time Ent was open). Monday morning the service was outstanding. But it cost us 2 Ubers and a 2 day rental, almost $500. If you are not going to stay after 2 please tell me and I won’t waste my time and money.

They were ok. The car wasn’t spotless and one of the seatbelts didn’t work. But it was ok. I arrived late because of some unforeseen issues and the attendant was quick to inform me that in the future they wouldn’t rent to me because I was so late. Well, that won’t be a problem because I’ll rent somewhere else. It was frustrating because it was a crappy day already and he just had to remind me again that I was late. Whatever.

When I arrived at the airport, they didn’t have the car. I asked when it would be there and they said it wouldn’t. I asked where it was and they said in town. I asked for a ride to it and they said they didn’t have a driver, but gave me a business card for a taxi. Polite but totally unhelpful, and I think the whole situation was completely unacceptable.

I’ve never had a rental company tell me I had to clean the car before I returned it. Usually the company will wash and vacuum cars after they get them back. I think this should be the companies responsibility.

The man behind the desk was very helpful and was dressed nicely. The car was ready when we arrived and I was gone in less than 10 minutes. The car was spotless and ready to go. I can't say enough about the rental. Thanks!!

I loved the gas mileage, The car was clean and very driveable. I loved the audio system and Bluetooth connection. My trip was fabulous and the car played a big part in that because I was in it a lot. Great value

Once we arrived to pick up the car, the lady didn't accept the reservation thru Kayak. We needed to insist and finally she helped us with Avis. No car with Budget.

I really didn’t like anything about this rental.

CLEAN your vehicles! It literally smelled like fermenting fruit crossed with B.O. It was disgusting. And we returned it before the office opened. Went back 30 minutes after they opened and they had already rented it out again. There is NO WAY they washed it for the next renter.

I rented a van for 6 adults plus luggage and I show up and they don’t have a van they have a Durango. I own a Durango and it might seat 6 people but it has no luggage room for 6 people . Very bad customer service. It starts your vacation off wrong.

I liked that that were open on Sunday. I also liked that I was told that I could keep the rental and return it the following day at the same time instead of dropping it off at 4 PM the day before. My price didn't change because it's based off of 24 hr rental. I'm grateful when people are honest. I also recieved a much better vehicle than I originally rented and I didn't even ask for it.

I didn't like returning a shiny new vehicle and going back to my old one.

Flight was delayed by about an hour due to weather. Arrived at airport having done pre checkout with avis. Agent was gone with a note saying they had to leave, so sorry. There were no taxis available and no ubers. Fortunately the gentleman at Enterprise drove us into town and rented us a car from his other location's fleet (he was out of cars at the airport). Avis agent could have just left a key with the guy at Enterprise and still gone away but they didn't really consider the position that they were putting me in. I will strongly hesitate to ever use avis again given that experience, which is kind of unfair since it was one person's bad behavior. But I also think avis should have a system in place so that this sort of thing doesn't happen.

Wanted economic vehicle got a gas hog instead of a rental for 300$ ended up over 400 with gas for 450 miles! Would have really not have had the upgrade!

Wish I could tell you more about my experience, but the rental facility was closed for the day and couldn't fulfill my reservation.

Honest business hours would've been helpful before last minute scrambling to find al alternate rental company on a holiday.

Nothing!

The only time Shelley smiled was after I signed the contract. They didn't have the SUV I had reserved 2 weeks earlier.When I asked what difference reserving makes, she said they have the option to change the class based on what they have on the lot. I tried to get my 24 yr old son as a second driver based on this sites information, and was told they had to be 25 AND have a credit card in their name. 2 hrs into my trip, we got a flat. No reimbursement. On long empty stretch of road, tried to clean bug splat off windshield but NO windshield wiper fluid! Tried calling St George office when I had cell service, no answer, no return call. Will never use Utah Avis/Budget again!
