The signage at Chania airport could be clearer for those who are not arriving via plane. I went to the lot only to be told I had to go inside to check in. After walking back and forth, there was quite a bit of time waiting for the attendants to pick up and bring the cars to the lot. They were working very hard but the whole process seemed to take a very long time.

My licensed was expired and the guy told us we couldn’t use my mom to reserve because he “has no cars” when we already had had a reservation. ended up using a different service because he refused to rent to us

A very rude lady claimed that I was late. So she had given our car to someone else. When I asked for her name so as to be able to report the incident, she threatened to call the police. Well done Avis. One more reason why I never use Avis unless there is no alternative.
