They were out of rental cars. I did not have a rental car while there.

The Dodge van was a little rough but everything about the rental experience was great.

I asked for 4 wheel drive vehicle but was given a 4 x 2, which we didn’t realize until we were almost to our destination. I was in an area that pretty much requires the 4 x 4 and I had gotten stuck. Thankfully with some help we were able to get out. We had to drive 2.5 hours back to Charlotte to exchange the vehicle. I am grateful they had the type of vehicle I needed I. The first place and the exchange was fairly quick. Too bad about the 5 hours of wasted driving time tho

The car was not in the best shape. It seemed to be older than most cars I’ve rented. It had higher miles, 54k and lots of scratches, dents and dings.

The representative at the pickup counter was very aggressive trying to get us to upgrade. He said the car we had reserved was "very basic, the lowest, it's what we call a 'teenager car.'" We repeatedly told him we would stay with what we had reserved. He again tried to get us to upgrade but now offered the upgrade at a lower price. Very uncomfortable for us to repeatedly decline and have him keep pushing. Plus, his English was heavily accented which made it difficult to understand him. Once the unnecessarily lengthy process was completed we proceeded to the pickup area where a representative quickly came over to us, examined our paperwork for 1-2 seconds, and walked us over to the Hyundai Kona - which was definitely not the low-end teenager car that the sales desk representative had described. The car was spotless and everything worked perfectly.

Only problem was that I did not have a credit card at the rental counter, I was paying with a debit card and that wasn't accepted, neither was cash. Had to return home to get a credit card...how 2020!! Update your pay rails! THE REVIEW: THE CAR WAS AMAZING!! Toyota Prius was a PLEASURE for over 700 miles, VERY HAPPY!!!! The one way drop off feature is FANTASTIC! Pick up and Drop off were simple. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!

I liked that the staff was very accommodating to my needs and I really appreciate their help.

The whole process from pick up to drop off was so easy and hassle free

We rented the car but the place was closed so we had to cancel reservation. Updated hours and not allowing us to rent from a place that is closed would have been nice. Thankfully, another car rental place had cars available last minutes

Vehicle was not properly cleaned when picked up, inside and out. Customer service call center poorly trained on understanding customer concerns and rude. Spoke to multiple agents over the span of 5 hours, including a phone call with my bank on 3 way and got conflicting information from agents. Will not book with Hertz again.

Very long line to check in. Car had a slow leak in one tire which was ignored when I brought it to dispater’s attention. Over 37,000 miles on car. Worn tires. Gunk on windshield that I had to scrape off

40 minute wait for pick up. Long line, little staff. Car had not been cleaned, but was not initially noticed because pickup was in dark parking garage.

Vehicles were nice and clean. Staff was courteous. However, line was excessively long and slow.

Car had an alignment issue. Traction control light was on. Two front tires had no tread. Had to purchase two tires to complete my trip.

Price gouging, charging airport fees but not in airport, Rates change after ask extension but never advised of this prior, charged card on file multiple times daily without authorization, say called never received, When I called could have advise of increasing rates not offered weekly best rates had to schedule another promotion online for better rate then declined insurance but first time was not a problem second had to use their insurance for $90 plus more which I thought was alot. Online showed insurance added $11 day should have been like $44. I didn't bother going back and forth with the pricing need transportation until mine out shop. Manager Owner information on business card never answered cell. Agent T. declined to provide corporate number stated have no clue what it is. Will be filing dispute with my financial institution and BBB.

Upfront pricing instructions of changed rates going up if extension and billing card without authorization daily instead of offering weekly best rates price gouging, not in airport but charging fees like they are. Very bad experience. Manager never answered cell phone or call back as requested agent C.. and T.. to advised owner. Distracted service, felt very unappreciated.
