The Enterprise agent steam determined to increase the price of the rental

You desperately need to fix your system's integration with Enterprise's system. I modified the booking a couple times on Kayak, but Enterprise didn't get alerted to the modification. The emails I received from Kayak had the wrong pick-up locations for Enterprise, but again, because Kayak didn't properly relay the pick-up location to Enterprise, I ended up going to the wrong location. This costed me $40 to take an Uber to the correct location as well as a 2-hour delay in pick-up, almost causing me to miss my drop-off time. I should get some credit for this hassle, which is totally Kayak's fault.

After confirming my reservation with Enterprise, I showed up a few minutes late for my reservation to the center on Michigan Avenue in Chicago only to be told that they had given away my car to somebody else.

Budget called me two days before my pick up date that they did not have the model of the car that I had booked. They then tried to push a “luxury” model on me for $700 more than my booking price. I told them no thank you, canceled my booking with them (which wasted about 2 hours of my time), and made alternate arrangements.

They initially didn’t have a car for us and told us they wouldn’t honor our reservation if the previous renter extended their reservation (which they did), which would have left our family stranded in Chicago. At one point they told us they didn’t have any cars available (which was weird because their lot seemed full of cars. To their credit, after pleading with the manager he agreed to give us a Prius, which we accepted. The whole experience was stressful. Although they were able to get us a car, I’ll never use Budget again

Quick, efficient service.

Our car was not available at Hertz. And as of today I still have not been refunded for the insurance package. Absolutely pitiful program that allows people to rent cars that don't exist and get charged for insurance on a car that does not exist.

The car was ok. It obviously wasn’t checked for the issue with the driver’s side door. There was a creeking noise. I ended up having to call roadside assistance because the door would not close. I got a text message saying the ETA was 2 minutes. They showed up 3 hours after the initial call. Very poor communication between Hertz and the tow truck company. I was told that I can exchange the car at the airport. There were no cars available at the airport. Clearly there there is no communication between customer service and the rental location. After all was said and done I lost 5 hours because of the poor level of service from Hertz. Very disappointed.

Hertz did not have a car despite reservation. Had to look elsewhere and spent $1100 rather than the initial $300. Terrible job, Kayak!
