There was one lady serving at reception and also cleaning cars and weekends are busy. I had requested rental car from 5/18/23@12 noon to 5/20/23@2pm but was told if I brought car at 2 they will be closed and I would be charged up to Monday 5/22/23. So I brought car back @ 11.50 but the 2 extra hour which were charged per hour was not returned. It was like it’s a crime to book through third part instead of direct- are you sure kayak is permitted to book for Hertz!!

Hertz didn’t bother to contact me until less than 24 hours prior to pickup to inform me that they couldn’t rent a car to me. My husband reserved the car and used his CC. I tried to use MY debit card and was told Hertz didn’t accept debit cards. ?? When I tried to cancel the reservation with Hertz I was directed to another number to call 🙄 I will not use Hertz again.

The website indicated I could pick it up in Cincinnati when I googled "Airport Pickup". The address was nowhere near the airport, and I ended up cancelling the reservation. It is lucky that the woman from the rental agency called me to tell me they were not open on Sunday, which was my first clue this was NOT at the airport! Very misleading on KAYAK's part!

I requested to pick up a car at the Cincinatti aiport and Kayak sent me to a Hertz that was not even at the airport. I never made it to pick up my car because my flight was delayed by 30 min and by the time I got to the Hertz counter at the airport and figured out my reservation was not at the airport it was 6:03pm and the place where my reservation was had closed at 6pm. The Hertz at the airport had no cars available and neither did any other vendor. None of them could help me in person, I had to do everything online and when the Hertz company finally said I could take a van it was going to be $388 for less than 24 hours. My original reservation was for $46 that I would like a refund on. Due to this confusion and Kayak choosing a rental place that was not at the airport and closed early for my flight time (Kayak asked for my flight information) I had to pay for a $109 Uber to Lexington and an $80 cab back from Lexington. I thought I was going to spend $46 and now I've spent $235 because of your poor program. I have never been to Cincinatti, how on earth would I know the rental car reservation was not at the airport when that is what I searched.....

The location is easy enough to find, was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. My rental was ready as scheduled and I was in and out in no time. The van I rented was clean and comfortable making my road trip a lot more enjoyable. Would definitely rent from this Hertz location again.
Communication was awful. My pickup was at 12:00 but the rental place was closed at 12:04. Lines were long since I had to travel 1/2 hour extra to pick up at a different rental. The small signs were difficult to see when driving by yourself. If there is another alternative for transportation I am taking that.

They called and cancelled on us telling us they had no car for us, even though we reserved it through you and paid for it. We passed on reserving cars at the airport because we got a confirmation from kayak that we had a car through this agency. By the time they called to tell us they really didn’t have any cars and don’t like it when websites like yours keep reserving them, it was too late for us to get a car at the airport. They were all gone. We ended up having to spend the night in Cincinnati at our own expense and ended up renting a car through another company to be able to get home the next day.
I ended up leaving a bad Google review. Their apparently new policies are not conducive to the way I do business.

The staff was very friendly
The gas tank only had a quarter of a tank. So not only did I have to spend more than $1200 to rent a minivan, I had to fill the tank up before getting on the road. Plus the van reeked of cigarette smoke. I turned the van in a day early but because the pick up was closed, I was still charged for the extra day. With the technology available, Enterprise should invest in an automatic check-in/check-out system for times staff is not available.

Reminder that I needed insurance. Maybe a sign on the counter saying what things to have ready.
I waited over an hour from the time I arrived until the vehicle was ready. When I got the vehicle it strongly smelled like cigarette smoke. That smell was there the entire time. Thankfully my son took detailed pictures of the vehicle when we picked it up. At drop off, they tried to claim that we were responsible for existing damage to the vehicle. We had the pictures to prove the damage was already there. Overall a bad experience.

I received a confirmation about a Mustang convertible or similar. As I arrived (in time) there was no convertible available. We’ve called your customer service and nobody was able to help me. Instead of the Mustang A received a complete different car but and it was dirty.
