Cheap Car Rentals in Lee - Miles, Cleveland

I thought I was picking up at the airport location but it turns out it was about 30 mins away. Seems like it would be a simple fix but I was told that because I booked through a third-party that Hertz couldn't do anything. Also, the vehicle had a strong smoke odor on the interior...not cool when you're traveling with family and small children.

The location closed before we could pick up the rental. We were not notified. We were not compensated. We had to pay for travel for that evening.

I am a non smoker. Meaning never in life smoked cigarettes or marijuana. If a vehicle has any smoke smell, leave it out of service until the smell dissipates. Also, customer service would be communicating to the customer prior to assigning the vehicle. The smoke smell nor damage was communicated until after it was noticed at vehicle entry. I then returned to the counter to confirm all concerns were documented and they had been, but notccommunicated.
