Everything with the vehicle was great- other than my flight getting canceled forcing me to drive back home and nobody told me about all the added fees involved. I had my doubts when I asked how much is this going to be if I have to drive back and drop off at another location/different state and he said it wouldn’t. My under $500 for the week rental was closer to $1000. I travel so much- I doubt I’ll be using budget again based on this. It was terrible customer service at the DEN airport budget however wonderful customer service at the Stuart FL location. The car they initially gave me also had no windshield washer fluid and it was a storm when I was leaving CO. None of my cars had full tanks of gas either but I returned them all full and got it hung for that. I felt that as a customer I did more than what budget did for me.
I liked vehicle and the customer service On both locations. The cost should have been for (2) days, not (1) day.
They didn't have my reservation, so I had to look up my confirmation number. Finally they got me a car and it was just ok. A few issues with it made it very frustrating and therefore diminished the value of what was paid.
The staff was able to give me a comparable price at a different location than it was reserved at.
Drop off was very fast at Denver international airport
The car was very small for a mid-size. A Nissan Versa seems to be a compact to me.
Everything was ready to go. The gas tank at pick up was about 7/8 full and required 4 gallons at distinction (about 70 miles). The car was okay.
After being switched to 4 different cars, we finally got one albeit 3 hours later than promised. Car was dirty inside and out; particularly the glass and windshield. The dirty glass inside and out made it unsafe to drive until I cleaned it. The car had 40,000 miles on it, and the worn out windshield wipers made the situation worse. Car was reliable. The Enterprise website and office phone message state how much care they put into cleanliness ... they really dont.
Pick up and drop off was fast and easy. I was asked if I needed a ride which was greatly appreciated. I didn't need one this time but I might in the future.
Car was not very clean inside, considering Covid restrictions. Someone had also smoked in the car, previously.
Friendly staff, accommodating drop-off and pick up was easy.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the drop off was easy.
They didn’t have my reservation and charged me full rack rates
Very good|May 2022
Enterprise is much easier and more professional to work with. I only use Hertz when I have to,
Car was filthy, desperately needed wiper blades, rental cars are way overpriced these days, mine was a 2019, with 64000 miles on it!
Very good|Mar 2021
Pickup was a good experience. The two employees at the Hertz location were very professional
I was charged for an additional day. I contacted Hertz at their main number and the agent was friendly and assigned a case number. I have not heard from anyone yet. I called the rental location for help twice. I was told they were too busy to help me out. They never called me back as they promised. Very disappointed with their response.
Didn't have the small SUV that we reserved so was upgraded to a larger SUV with better gas mileage at no charge. The husband and wife who own the Avis are so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
I reserved a small car but all they had was a really big truck. I was not comfortable driving it at all found it very difficult.
Even though AVIS shows cars available on both their website and 3rd party websites they had none available. I had a confirmation number for a reservation and 5 minutes later the called me and said they had zero available for that day! What the heck! You shouldn’t e able to reserve a car if their aren’t any available.
