Pickup/dropoff was fairly easy, but this is more a function of the Cordoba, Argentina, airport that from a Hertz
I was promised a mid-sized car but instead got a Corsa Classic, which is not made in the USA. It has the leg room of a subcompact. I arrived 90 minutes early to pick up the vehicle and asked if I could get it then. The agents wanted to charge me an additional $31 for the 90 minutes. So I waited. The clerk who handled my paper work spoke no English, so he could not explain why Hertz was going to charge my credit card for 15,000 Argentine pesos. He had to get an agent from a competing rental car booth to explain that this was a damage deposit. I've had much better experiences in the past with Europcar, and I'll certainly use this company in the future and avoid Hertz.
