Cheap Car Rentals in Springwells Village, Detroit

I paid over $130 in extra fees that were never mentioned when I originally booked. The listed price is a lie and you are facilitating scamming people.

Car smelled like cigarette smoke, dollar had hella extra unexpected charges on arrival. we waited in the cold for the car to be brought around and they had, it was literally sitting in front of us, but no one told us. They guys just walked off and we waited. It wasn't a luxury car. It was an suv. Not what I ordered

At checkin there were several mistakes made with no real effort to correct them. Eventually yes, but I had to find another car on my own.

The car was dirty on the outside. Also, at the airport location, check-out should've been completed at time the vehicle was turned in.

Horrible experience. They gave car with no battery & no curiosity to even serve us first as we return back due to bad car issuance. I dont recommend to any one for this kind of poor customer service & they gave a remote that has no buttons( Mazda SUV). Plus car has all kind of indicators & we are not sure if that car will complete the trip.

I specifically reserved an AWD vehicle seeing as I arrived in Detroit at 11pm IN THE MIDDLE OF A SNOWSTORM and then had to drive 4 hrs to my final destination, however, upon arrival at the Budget office they told me IT DIDN'T MATTER BECAUSE THERE NOW WEREN'T ANY AWD VEHICLES AVAILABLE. Thus began my horrifying drive through a wintery vortex in a PRIUS!!!! Also, I called Budget customer service to change my drop off location from Detroit to Holland and they told me it would be no problem and no change in fees. Well, once I got my bill from Budget, I was charged an additional day for my rental due to the fact that the new drop-off location doesn't have cameras so they were unable to record what time I dropped off the car. I have called Budget customer service 4 times with varying levels of competency by staff (one straight up hung up on me!) but still no one has been able to process me a refund for the additional day's charge. I will never rent from Budget again.

No complaints at all they were friendly and the suv I had was a brand new Ford expedition limited and when I choose a vehicle on kayak I just choose full size suv and that’s what I ended up with.

Returned the Car Early and they charged me for the full number of days.

Had to change out a flat and the spare was in good condition. More importantly, it was so easy to get a hold of a real human being on the phone to explain my situation and tell me where to go to exchange for another car.

The premium suv I reserved wasn’t so premium. A ton of air sound would come in from the windshield once I hit 45mph as if the weather strip was not properly replaced. The breaks were also very bad the vehicle should have been serviced before being rented out.

First thing I did not get the car I ask for. The price of the car was to expensive

Van was brought up, left for 6 miles, then low tire light came on, went back, swapped stuff to another van. Sienna was learning curve. Had an emergency, at home. returned car to DTW lot used 6 of the 9 days. Got no receipt from accepting agent. Got home to my wife in hospital and found a receipt from Thrifty charging $198 for AP conc fee which I told them was already in the previous contract. Called 3 times, Thrifty refused to reverse. Even when i said they had 3 days rental revenue to use the van. Didn't want credit for the days, just not to pay twice for airport fee.

We were escorted to the lot, and we got to pick our vehicle in the category we rented. There was bottled water available, as well.

Everything was excellent except for one thing; the amount charged on my credit card was way higher than my rental agreement and the final amount upon return. The National car rental location was Detroit, Mi Airport and returned to Brownsville,Tx airport. Something happened in the transition and hopefully National can correct the problem! I have a dispute reference number and I am waiting for the call from National at this time.

Nothing! Had a reservation along with maybe 15 people n front of me and they claimed they had no cars….never use them again.

The zombie employees were so slow I almost wanted to take their pulse to see if they were alive. No customer service Fire the entire staff and start over. I would have preferred robots

The Rav4 was having computer issues and kept hanging up on people that I called and not being able to use the navigation. Was very scary considering how much we rely on computer systems in our cars now and was driving during a snow storm.
