The agent confirmed she would remain there beyond the usual closing time if my flight arrived later. She was extremely nice and did not try to push additional options. I received better vehicle than expected. The agency and the vehicle were at the terminal.

I was sitting at the Philadelphia airport waiting for my flight when I received a call from Avis telling me that they would be closed when I arrived at 9:48 from Chicago. I live in a remote rural area, and was completely stranded in Duluth. It seems to me that

It seems to me that if you have a car rental, someone should stay at the desk until the last flight comes in. The later, the more urgent this is.

Very comfortable vehicle, easy to pick up and drop off. Would have appreciated a bit of help with controls, especially cruise control. No manual in the car so I couldn't look it up for help. Staff, though sympathetic, did not know how to help. On a long road trip, cruise is definitely appreciated! I couldn't get it to come on for 1/2 of first day, then it did come on, but I don't know why. On return trip, I assumed it would work. Wrong. Again, 1/2 way without, then it decided to work. Does it only work when the car is "warmed up" for 5 hours?

I made my reservation online to rent a car on 1/30/2017 and bought the auto insurance to go with it. The charge of $45 was billed immediately and I was to pay for the car when I checked in. He told me I couldn't get the car bc I didn't have a Credit Card in my name...I was upset bc I've never been denied a rental before and it was a huge inconvience for me. I didn't complain, and went on my way. However, the insurance charge is still showing on my account and was never reversed at time of check in. I asked the employee who worked front desk, but he said he couldn't help me. How do I go about getting these charged reversed? Thank you for your time, Holly Thomas

Price, car was clean, I was able to book easily online (and at the last minute).

No economy available, was given a Ford Focus (which has terrible visibility). Also wish there was a pick-up and drop-off downtown rather than only the airport option.
