Don’t ever use this company in East London, South Africa. We made two separate booking through Priceline and when we went to pick them up, they had no record of either booking. We had to take a car that we didn’t want because we didn’t really have a choice. We returned the car full of gas and we’re then told that we owed more money for gas as the vehicle wasn’t full. There was apparently an “airlock button” which need to be pushed to get the tank to fill to its capacity. Very bad experience overall, save yourself the frustration and pay a little extra to avoid disappointment. I will never use them again.

The young man who eventually assisted us was helpful and cordial.

Upon arrival, we were told by a supervisor/ manager (name beginning with P) that the car which we had reserved online (Nissan Nivara) does not exist in their EL collection! We were offered a small utility van with canopy instead . Upon declining and asking for a sedan instead, he refused, saying there were no other cars available. Eventually, he referred us to his younger colleague and we were offered the "last available" VW Polo. The car had so many scratches and bumps on its exterior, it was not worth the paper of the "pre-inspection" form. Inside, it had a damp, musty smell and graffiti on the sun shades. When driven, it had squiling brakes and suffered roll-back, even when handbrake was lifted! That we paid over R700 (excluding other costs) to hire this non-roadworthy wreck felt like daylight robbery!
