Many options to choose from. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately vehicle had not been clean due to short staff and busy schedule. Had bottles, stains , crumbs, chewed up straws still inside vehicle.

Didn't give me the car I wanted, or even similar to what I wanted. Asked for a Sudan, got a nissan kicks. Car was horrifically uncomfortable. Rented for 2 days and only used it 1 day, refused to drive it again. Drove to salem and back once, arrived home with a neck, shoulder, and back ache. There was also a stain in the back that made the entire car smell terrible.

The car we were coming down to Eugene in broke down, we asked Enterprise if we could pick it up that night or the next day, possibly with a small discount since we had to pay to take a train down to Eugene after our car was towed & we would only have the car for 1/2 days. I know I’m not entitled to anything, but it was a bummer when we had to pay the full price, and also that every person we talked to gave us completely different answers regarding opening/closing times, the latest/earliest we could pick up the car, etc. When we picked up the car, the customer service worker was very rude, wouldn’t answer our questions in full, and made us feel like we were a nuisance. I work in customer service, I’m not asking for overly positive workers, I would just prefer clear answers regarding the $40,000 car I was about to borrow. It was a lame weekend full of lame happenstances like this, what can you do?

Damage to the passenger front hubcap was significant, but not noted. It took time to stand in line at Eugene and to have the damage documented so I wasn’t liable. Additionally a dedicated desk agent would have sped up the process

Got in the crowded line prior to my pickup time. Got to the counter 30 minutes prior to my scheduled time and went through the entire process, noticed there was an additional charge in my paperwork, asked them what it was and they then notified me that they were charging me for picking up an hour early. Got to the car and there were stains throughout and trash still in it. Showed up to the drop-off office and it was close. No instructions were given for dropping off the rental. Called every number available and no one answered. Circled around for more than 20 minutes until a neighboring hotel staff member helped us. An hour later, I received a notification from my bank that I was charged $100 by Hertz. Checked my email and there was no explanation.

Agent I interacted with was rude. Car smelled like smoke. I was charged double and Hertz makes it very difficult to get ahold of someone to ask about charges. I finally found a number on the website and it kept hanging up on me. I will not be using Hertz again.

Very convenient to have agents and cars right at Eugene airport. No shuttle. Agents very friendly. One small but important glitch. My agent forgot to return my driver's license and credit card to me. Fortunately, I realized this about 5 min after leaving the counter and could come back and get it.

The car I originally got from my reservation had expired tags. Oregon lifted their offer to be lenient on expired tags in January 2022. Not to mention if I were to get pulled over, I would get a ticket. If I got pulled over by a State Trooper, I could get a misdemeanor. Not willing to risk it, My companion and I had to fight to get a different car with non expired tags. Even paying for the class upgrade ourselves because all of the other cars in the class I made a reservation for that they had available had expired tags.

They let you choose premium cars online, but the woman at the counter said they don't actually have any cars and won't in the future, so they always put you in a different class. I only learned this after a few rentals getting something much larger than I asked for.

Worst rental car I have ever been in. Dirty, banged up, old and the engine made a funny noise. Was afraid to drive it. No other cars available, apparently. Can't believe it is part of their fleet. Staff were friendly and easy pick up and drop off. I am hoping that the car quality was an anomaly but make sure the car is ok before you drive it off the lot. I should have tried another rental company but the weather was bad and we were already in it.

The car was not clean inside AT ALL. It smelled like wet dog the entire time and there were dust and crumbs in all the cracks. The seats were stained and dirty. Definitely not worth the money I paid. I know it was a smaller car, but there's no need for it to feel like I took my 18-year-old cousin's car for the week. Gross. In addition, the people working for Hertz/Dollar left a woman stranded because she accidentally booked at a location outside of the airport. She had no way of getting to the other location. We gave her a ride after we got our car. She called ahead to let them know she was coming because they were closing soon. We got there at 5:00 pm and they had already locked up the store and left! Unbelievable. We gave her a ride back to the airport so she could hopefully rent from a different company. I could not believe that the airport employees didn't offer to help her and that the other location closed when they KNEW she was on her way. I will never rent from Dollar or Hertz again because of this complete disregard for her safety and for customer service... and a filthy car.
