When we made our reservation, one of the questions was what time our flight arrived. So, when we arrived at the airport we went to the rental counter. after a wait of about 20 minutes, we were informed that our rental was with an off-site location. Not just off-site, but 15 miles away!! There was an address on the confirmation but, not living in ft Meyers, we didn't recognize the extreme off-sitedness of the location. after a $50 cab ride, we discovered the site was closed. they close at 5 pm (we had said our flight arrived at 4:20). Not only did they not tell us they were off-site, but they also didn't tell us they were going to close just a few minutes after we collected our luggage. their customer service wanted to increase our rate by more than double because "we were changing or reservation"!!!
