Cheap Car Rentals in Georgia

It was easy to pick up the car and the location of the pick up was convenient. But were given the wrong parking slot which became confusing. We thought we were renting a “full size” car. The car at best was a mid size. We had difficulty fitting our golf clubs in the car. It was a struggle every time. That was disappointing.

Car was upgraded, had great safety features, and was in excellent shape. The service at the airport desk was outstanding.

I've never rented a car before; Alamo made it easy. Dunno why everyone is lined up at Budget when Alamo had the same pricing and no line!

The vehicle I reserved was not available. I received a vehicle that cost me $341 more than my price. I was forced to take this deal because there were no vehicles available at any other agency. They offered me a refund, which was of no use to me, because I needed a vehicle to drive 2 hours to Augusta. I will never rent from Sixt again and will think twice about reserving through Kayak again either.

receive card very dirty the car had a ton of scuff marks and damage asked to swap car they would not allow us app was not working to upgrade. They would not help us. Call customer service left a message they would not call us back counter. Did not help us at the end of the rental either because we booked through kayak! Extremely disappointed on both accounts.

Customer service was atrocious. We were delayed 2 hours due to a tornado in ATL and I was told the vehicle level I reserved was not in stock and that my reservation was not priority because I had only reserved it 6 hours before arrival and I forfeited my reservation due to the policy of not being on time even though it was due to a severe weather delay. I was told I would have to wait an hour and a half to see if anything came available but no guarantees. I had my two young children with me so I asked if anything at all was available and they said I should either cancel or I could pay 2X as much for an upgrade to the next level but due to it being the start of The Masters they didn't need to upgrade me as a courtesy. I said I would upgrade and just speak with customer service later then they immediately told me "never mind- that option was not available for me (and she specified to me personally)" and that I had to wait 20 minutes either way so to step aside. After waiting 20 minutes there was still no updates- employees were taking breaks almost all at the same time...no snacks or waters provided to the kids that were behind the counter- we were just told to keep waiting. Finally, I asked to give me what was available and they gave me a 2 door Camaro at an upgraded charge. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE- will never use this service again.

Nobody was there to show me to the car or to tell me which cars were available for my reservation. I had to run around the parking lot with my suitcases looking for someone to help me. Car was not fully charged even though I paid for the refuel option. When I asked the associate she said that’s how it works and was generally unhelpful and distracted.

two hours to pick up a rental car. You know how to TAKE a reservation, you just don't know how to KEEP a reservation. You had reservations from every one of us in those lines (yes, MULTIPLE lines.) Could yo unot have predicted the peak load and staffed better? You HAD more positions available for staff at the counter.

Hertz added insurance to my bill. trying to get that cost removed

Sales associate was RUDE at checking-in. I was charged $80 more than online booking. The cars breaks were not working cause me to have to stop hundreds of feet before traffic. Will NEVER rent from Budget again.

The only reason I chose Budget to rent was the lower price than the competition. However, I ended up receiving an economy size car rather than the minivan that I had initially reserved. The van was not available at Savannah airport, and I needed to get moving as it was past 2 AM and I was extremely tired from an already 1 1/2 hours wait in line. Budget did not deliver on its promise, and I paid more that anticipated for a smaller economy car. And an unanticipated fuel surcharge of $74? After I returned the car with a full tank?

The expedited drop off processs without getting in a line was great.

Desk assistant loaded the rental with obscure insurance charges - Personal Accident Insurance, Personal Effects Insurance and RSN (which I have never heard of) without asking us whether we wanted it and without telling us that he fad marked them as if we had accepted them. Unfortunately we were so jet lagged and my wife (who signed) was suffering extreme pain due to Lymphoedema did not realise. The desk assistant had an impenetrable accent and whispered so we had extreme difficulty understanding him. We only realised that all these extras had been added when we received the bill at the end of the rental which is 50% higher than the amount that we prepaid. My wife is registered Avis Preferred but this was ignored and we were assigned the crappiest vehicle that there ever was which had not been cleaned and the carpet on the drivers side had a hole in it through to the metal. The car had numerous dents and scratches. My recommendation would be to read the reviews for other car rental companies and take your business to a company other than Avis.

I had to wait two hours in line to pick up my car. This was ridiculous. No other car rental place. I had a line anywhere near that within the facility.

3 hour wait to pick up the vehicle at ATL airport. No matter how good of a price you get, it's not worth it. DON'T DO IT unless you have a lot of time waste.

Atlanta airport location drastically over booked cars. I waited in line for an hour and forty five minutes to pick up a car I had reserved several weeks in advance.

I never received my rental car and had to cancel, refund pending…

All good except getting car out of lot. For some reason this takes at least five minutes.

There was not a car available for me to pick up and the line was an hour long.
