The car was not very clean when we picked it up.

Being charged additional fees after the fact is a terrible business model. The charges that I agreed to at the time of reservations was not honored. Will never use you again.

Rental experience was very good. Car was nice but you could tell it had been smoked in.

When I arrived at the airport with my reservation I had to wait over 45 minutes for a vehicle, I was given a huge SUV with 60,000 miles on it with expired license plates and several things wrong with it, the engine light was on, change oil soon, navigation system not working and did I mention it had over 60,000 miles and the windows were filthy dirty. I had to return the car after 48 hours which meant I had to drive over 100 miles. I was told I wouldn’t be charged for the gas for my inconvenience and then it was on my bill, all in all a pretty bad experience other than the people behind the counter at GRR trying to be as helpful as possible.

Car was different than I booked. Car was not in good condition and serviced properly. I’m writing this for the customer safety reasons. Otherwise Hertz is the best.

Car was filthy, had to wait 90 minutes extra to leave on my trip.☹️

It was a bit expensive and was not clean when I picked it up. The windshield had smudge marks that were hard to see through. There glue from stickers on both the front and back glass. Otherwise it was a fine Camry easy to operate and turned on a dime. Due to on line difficulties it was not easy to reserve and was held at a location a few miles off the airport. This was corrected by the personnel promptly and may account for why it was not as clean as it should have been.

The car was very clean, but I had a couple issues with it: 1. The headlights seemed to be really poorly aligned. I could barely see anything at night unless I turned the high beams on, and that's pretty annoying/potentially dangerous. 2. I was driving on a wet highway in the winter. The road had a lot of salt on it, and it was constantly being kicked up onto the windshield. The wiper fluid that Avis uses must be really cheap, because it froze up in the lines and wouldn't spray onto the windshield. I had to constantly pull off to wipe the windshield manually so that I could safely see while driving. Dangerous! Also, I was in a position to return the car early, but I wanted to know if it would cost more to do so (due to having had a discount for renting over a longer period initially). I called Avis for info about this twice, and both times I got turned away. They said that they could only show me the price *after* accepting the car back. These people do this every day; surely they should have an idea of whether or not it'd be more expensive. In the end, while the car was clean and relatively cheap, my overall experience with my rental wasn't a good one. Based on this experience, I'd be hesitant to return to this Avis/Budget location.

Promised aCX5 Mazda or better and got a Ford mini crossover. It was beat up on the exterior and was an uncomfortable ride. Very disappointed.
