Could not find Europcar at airport. Turns out they have a local partner, Ansa Rentals, but the confirmation email made no mention of this. After I asked around, someone representing Ansa who was sitting on a bench told me he handles Europcar rentals there. However, they did not have a car available, even though it was the time of my reservation. He called someone to try to get a car, and we waited for about 15 minutes, until he got a call back. He said they found a car that would be available a few hours later, but they could deliver it to me, so we took public transit back to my hotel. They did deliver the car to the hotel. It would have been much better if a) Europcar had sent me an email when I booked, explaining this would be Ansa Rentals and how to find their representative at the airport, and b) if they were actually expecting me and had a car ready for me on time. Or, if they had offered in advance to deliver the car to my hotel, and given a contact number.
