Cheap Car Rentals in Greenville

Made a reservation with a confirmation number . Called to confirm the address hours later before the pick up only to be told they didn’t have a car for me . When I asked when they planned on letting me know they didn’t have a response

We were promised a vehicle that I reserved a few months ahead of time as I knew about the shortage of rental vehicles When we arrived after our flight arrived, there were no more vehicles for us to rent, nor was there anything a supervisor could do despite having multiple cars from corporate on the lot. (The young man at the desk said that they were no longer associated with corporate). He called the supervisor only after I repeatedly asked him to do so, and even then, there was nothing they could do, leaving us stranded at the airport unable to get to our final destination that night. They wouldn't comp us for our hotel stay and Uber to get to the hotel, which was booked THAT night (as our Airbnb was about 90 minutes away and we had NO vehicle to get there). Awful experience, awful company. Never again will we book with Hertz. Unprofessional and inexcusable.

Great experience, super expensive for 1 day rental

Very good experience. Easy check in and vehicle pickup. Drop off as well couldn't have been easier. High ratings all around !!

Staff was very kind and helpful, pickup and return very easy. What surprised me was that at my reservation the estimated costs were $363.03, but when I picked up the car it was $724.37 and I don‘t exactly know why they were doubled. It would be fair if your offer listed the full charges. So unfortunately I can‘t recommend Kayak/Avis after this experience. Yours Dieter

Avis did not have the car I reserved. They gave me a smaller car. Not happy as my colleague is tall and was not able to sit comfortably. Hope Kayak can compensate me in some form. I appreciate it

Quick and easy

During the rental period the car I was driving was recalled by ford. My experience with the competency of the road side assistance company (Urgent.ly) was horrific! The competency of the Urgent.ly staff and the communication with the rental was terrible. The short story is it took more than 6 days to coordinate a swap of vehicles and in the end I was the one who provided a solution. Not sure what I would have done if I was stranded with a broken down car.

I was charged an additional day for turning in the car 20 minutes late…I arrived to the drop off location at the airport 15 minutes early, but I couldn’t find a parking spot in the return rental lot, and there was nobody there to check me in.

Seems like they are shutting down this location... I booked a car through Kayak, but didn't find out there were no cars available until I got to the Budget location.

Very professional

They no showed me. They were not there at all. They did not answer the phone, or ever return my call or voice mail. It is 5 days later and they have made no attempt to contact me via email or phone. I will add that I already had to use a ride share app from the airport to their location which cost me $35 during rush hour. Because I could not get ahold of anyone, I had to spend another $77 to my destination. I used a live chat which kept resetting and tried to cancel the first and second days of my trip. I actually got a person instead of a bot and they had the nerve to ask what time I would be picking up the car the next day. The need had already passed and I spent more money to get an hour away. Their service is as garbage as their location looks. I don’t recommend them.
