Agathe at Sixt Grenoble was very friendly and explained everything clearly. We had an puncture en route and I gad to call the Sixt emergency line. That agent also helped us calmly and effectively in a stressful situation. Sixt also immediately provided us with a replacement vehicle with no hassles.

Needed to change my pickup time. They claim 24 hour service but 1) their customer service said on Saturday and Sunday they were out of operational hours, 2) didn’t respond to emails or customer service forms on their website. Sixt then ended up cancelling the reservation and when I arrived at the car rental, they said they could only rebook at a new price - twice as much.

Collection process was slow but the staff were excellent and very helpful. Drop off procedure was not very clear, one staff member told me I had to queue again (could have taken an hour!) but luckily another overheard and corrected him & dealt with us.

Hi, i am very disappointed with the whole experience. Budget were very unhelpful when picking up the car and charged me £ 535.84 for the car hire, i asked for a breakdown and they said they couldn't give it to me, i asked for an invoice and they said they had no printer, therefore, i had no paperwork at all, just a visa debit receipt for my money. Budget said they would email the invoice with the breakdown, however, 2 days later when i called Priceline to request the invoice from Budget, they said i would have to call direct. I called Budget and they did not answer. When i took the car back on Sunday, i arrived early and requested an invoice, again they said they could not print, again they said they would email, but as of now, i still have had nothing, To say i am disappointed is an understatement. The cost Kayak and Priceline gave me for the total car hire was $210.14, which in sterling is approximately £165.00. i have been charged £ 535.84 to date, please help and advise? regards Darren

Big queue at Budget Grenoble and only one member of staff when returning the car. So unfortunately just left the key without getting the return signed off. They are now claiming €400 for two non existant scratches ! Fortunately I videod the condition of the car and am now in dispute with Budget . DO NOT USE THEM

They rented us a car and the location that we were supposed to use to pick up was closed, so we were unable to rent a car and had to spend an extra 200 dollars to extend our stay in our current hotel. They SUCK.

We reserved an automatic car and was told it was waiting for us for pick up. There was no automatic car at this pick up location or any in the city for that matter. We were forced to take a manual car. Luckily one of us knows how to drive a manual otherwise we would have been completely screwed. However having only one driver was very inconvenient and drastically changed our trip plans. Very dissatisfied with this service. When you make a reservation and pay extra money specifically for an automatic car that is what you should get.
