We had a problem with the smell of the car. We had asked for a no smoking car and when we picked up we were assured all cars were no smoking. We reported it to Hertz so they could fix for next customer. The Hertz representative accused us of creating the small in the car and said they would determine if they would charge us a cleaning fee! We did not have time to return the car for another because we were in a hurry to get to a wedding. They were very rude!!! I will never rent from Hertz Again!!

I liked the cleanliness. Where to take the car back was not explained. Way too expensive for low grade car. Car not good on gas. Will not use Hertz again.🤔

Picked up SUV and was told that a crack was in the windshield and it was on back order.I had an appointment so left with the vehicle. I couldn’t believe Alamo would rent with such a large crack. It was in my sight line and I returned it the next day. They only offered me a small Sadan. I ask for a credit of some sort since it was not an SUV that I originally rented. The clerk was very rude. She did state I would receive a 200 $ credit. Will never rent from Alamo again.

wished the car I ordered (Toyota RAV4) would have been available. Instead I got a Chevy Equinox that was just okay but did not meet my expectations.

I had a business meeting in Vancouver, WA on Friday at 1:00 pm. I was at my sons in Olympia when I discovered I had a flat tire in the rental car. I called Avis and was directed to their emergency roadside service. They told me it would be 55 minutes and then a tech would be there to fix the flat. He didn’t come for 5 hours. I missed my meeting. They didn’t have any sense of urgency to assist me.

Car condition was fine and acquiring went smoothly.

Because we only drove locally and as a means to get ourselves to the airport while our daughter at work, we used less than 75 miles. We were then charged a $15 fee for low mileage. Ridiculous as we spared the car and company wear and tear as a result so why be penalized?

The folks behind the counter were incredibly kind and easy to work with. When the car I reserved wasn't available, they asked what my needs were for renting and made sure I had an alternate available.

Sadly the car type I reserved wasn't available. I ended up in a larger car which wasnt terribly inconvenient but I felt like I wasn't getting what I expected.

Reserved vehicle was not available. Reserved a full size SUV and tried to give us a minivan to drive Montanas back roads. Ended up getting a small pickup which ended up fine. This after calling 3 times the week before to confirm they would have my vehicle. Vehicle was not cleaned very well both inside and outside. Staff was friendly though and pickup and drop off was smooth as well.

Cahill and Silas found me a good rate and cleaned the car before giving it to me. My Ford Explorer had Sirius/XM, which was fun as I drove across the country.

On a car with fewer than 2,000 miles, I was astonished to get a flat tire. Even worse, it turned out that my rental had no spare tire! No full-size, no "doughnut" size either! Roadside assistance was courteous, but it was estimated to be 4-5 hours before a new vehicle could be delivered. Instead, I drove to a nearby Sears Tire store. Still, the flat delayed my trip by 3.5 hours.

I reserved an intermediate car and got a Nissan Sentra. Is that really an intermediate car? It seemed overpriced for the size and features (no satellite radio, etc). It was late at night and the parking lot was kind of far from the desk so I really didn't have an incentive to complain to the desk clerk. He told me it was a Nissan Sentra, but I'm not really familiar with many makes and models. Surprised when I get NYC area prices in Helena, MT.

The car was fine. Slight smell of smoke :-(

I waited at the counter at Helena Airport for almost half an hour before anyone showed up. I called the number on te sign at the counter No answer. I called the 800 number, spoke to a person, put on hold, disconnected by rating message. The attendant at the Avis counter went to look for the attendant, no luck. I called the 800 message again, waited, and finally the attendant showed up.
