Pickup/drop off is super easy, quick, and right at the airport. We know this because we had to return one rental car half way through the trip due to the electrical system going haywire. We were experts by the time we returned the second car, which was having transmission problems. Not sure if it’s a Hertz thing or a STX thing, but the cars are seriously abused.

lt is the vehicle to drive on and off these roads of st. Croix. Easily was able to manuver the hillside drive.

Car interior got a bit hot when driven for long periods of time. I had to turn on the AC a few times.

We traveled to St. Croix to finalize the location for a medical school and they would not take a debit card (MC). Was not informed of this OR about deposits. Very bad situation. Seeking legal help false advertising.

What a great little car, Kia Rio that they rented me for 66 days. Easy to drive,(even while driving on left), The Back-up Camera was a great feature, easy to park and plenty of room in back seat & trunk.

Honestly, my whole experience with this rental was positive, just what one looks for in a rental car.+++++

The staff at the counter was horrible. My reservation confirmed a 10am pick for 1 day. I was finally able to speak with Diane bout 11am or shortly after she mentioned that my reservation was canceled as a no show and I might not receive the type of vehicle I reserved bc they don’t have any cars.

I ended up getting a car after much scrutiny. My rental was checked out at 12:13 and bc I had to wait to show her my receipt that gas was purchased it increase the time of return to 2:13. Diane charged be an entire day.

The people were awesome. Friendly & helpful.

The car rattled, and not just because of the pothole. Something was loose under the car. Rust, dings, both major and minor. Missing body parts (Passenger side mirror back piece missing) Little embarrassed to drive it.

I paid for additional insurance on the car. When I got to the counter they already gave my car away and I had to wait for more than 20 minutes for them to come up with another car. I got in the car started to drive the check air pressure light came on. I got out of the car and checked tires, they seemed fine as far as air pressure. The next day before driving I inspected the tires they seemed full. A hour later I got a flat. Avis didn't want to come change tire, I guess it was't covered in the insurance. I took the car back to the airport they gave me a new tire. They wanted to know where the hub cap was? I had no idea it may have flown off car when I got a flat tire.

A Budget rep met us near the cruise dock (no actual Budget office there). We got a newer car, a Toyota Corolla, that was parked nearby. We returned it to the same place with no rep and the key locked inside as instructed. This was no problem as we got an email receipt within an hour. This six hour rental was an excellent way to tour the entire island at a good price.

Process was quickly and easy. Gas is cheaper in land than paying for there gas. Gas was $4.39 and they were charging $6.99. But everything was pretty much good and seaming-less. I would definitely use them again.

Features of the Toyota SUV we rented were very confusing. The trunk was impossible to lock when holding the key fob. We had no idea that as long as you hold the fob, the trunk opens. Why this is is a complete mystery and a huge shortcoming. When I lock the car, that should be it until I unlock it, regardless of where the key fob happens to be. The other major problem was that I couldn't lock the brights. I had to hold the lever to the left of the steering column if I wanted the brights on all the time. No one at Budget knew why this was happening. It seems to me that it is Budget's responsibility to explain every important feature of their cars to us before we leave the lot - unless we are familiar with the car, of course. We had to return the car to Budget at the airport to find out about the trunk locking issue. No one was able to explain the problem over the phone. This caused us a huge waste of time. Otherwise, the car was comfortable and performed well.

Nothing.

Everything. There was no pickup from the airport. Had to pay $25 in transport fees to get to the rental location. Upon renting the vehicle it had not been cleaned. There where roaches in the vehicle. Tried contacting them for a replacement vehicle to no avail. Was definitely not worth the money. Will be renting from another reputable agency going forward.

Reserved a month before. Confirmed via phone twice in the week before. Upon arrival I was told ‘ we don’t have any cars’. Not sorry, not we might have one tomorrow, no attempt to help in any way. The manager was in the back room and refused to speak with me. The woman at the counter, Laura, refused to help in any way. Worst customer experience I have ever had. DO NOT RENT from these people.
