The staff was ok

There was no gas in the car. So i had to wait for the staff to take the car to the gas station. Also they were trying to charge by the hour instead of by the day. So they were trying to charge me more than what was promised when i booked online. And even though i dropped the car off at night the clock is still ticking until noon today. Since they dont open until noon

We reserved a compact and were given a jeep pickup, which was nice for driving in the beach on Texas. Surprised the agent didn't tell us at the counter though. Not as comfortable as some cars but worked out great.

The representative was very rude, I will never return renting from hertz. I was also a shareholder that has liquidated my shares.

The whole experience. It was literally a nightmare and I work in customer service! I was livid. I’ve never treated a customer so badly.

Staff in Houston were rude and not helpful. Gave me a car that smelled like cigarettes, was sticky, and all of the seats were SOAKING wet.
