I asked for an email receipt so I didn't notice they had my drop-off location wrong - a bodyshop in Buffalo instead of the Syracuse airport. Luckily, I spotted the error in time and Enterprise fixed it right away over the phone.

Initially we were told that no car was available despite our reservation, making me panic. Issue was resolved though.

The original car smelled of smoke. I asked to change the date of the rental and if that would also change my rental price. I was told no, but later they charged me more and unfortunately there was no way to dispute it since it was my word against theirs.

We had no issues with the car nor with the rental. Everything was seamless. Most importantly, when United canceled our flight out of Ithaca, it was absolutely as easy as it could be to get the car to be dropped off in Rochester instead. There was a nominal fee charged, but in a pinch, I'm grateful for how easy it was to get the car dropped off in an alternate location.

Everything was going perfectly but after dropping off the car I got charged with extra $30 and I was not sure where that was coming from. Probably never going to use KAYAK, other rentals might be bit expensive but at least they never charge you snikey extra money.

You idiots! The rental was cancelled 5 minutes after it was made. There was no rental event. Why don't you know that? You have no back-feed from Hertz to your system?? I got notices from you that my car was ready, which was totally wrong and made me have to contact Hertz again. So much for using cheapflights again.

Cheapflights could have done their job and understood the situation.
