Cheap Car Rentals in Summerlin, Las Vegas

We reserved a convertible with a pick up at a Hertz in a resort a $40 uber ride from the airport. That didn't make us happy. When we got there, they didn't have any convertibles. They said that location NEVER had them. They said the tried to call us, but looking through my phone logs showed that to be a lie. They gave us a sports car instead, but we would have been much happier with a regular car with a pickup at the airport. The car was not clean on the inside. Lots of mud and little stones on the floor, and pieces of paper down between the seats. All in all, not a good experience.

It was the worst experience we have ever had with a rental car. Mostly due to the woman who checked us in to the car. She needs to be fired immediately

asked for closest location to my hotel on the strip. was sent to Rampart ave over 40 min away. cost me 53.00 for cab. then they were closed from 12 noon till 1pm . and we could not pick up car till 1pm. there was 2 other people there with same issues.. The lady was extremely rude ,ignoant and lied to us about her staying till 1206. we all called BS. She kept quiet . When she went to get my car she never said a word...just left. the gentleman who was also working there said we should go outside as she was getting the car. when she finally brought it up, she stopped about 20 yds from us, got out, left it running, stomped past us(me and my wife) said the keys are in it and so is the contract. The car was dirty and had less than a quarter tank. She was very unprofessional and rude. I returned the car to the airport drop off and was charged another 51 dollars. as of rigtht now i will never rent from Hertz again

Pushy front desk selling insurance. I bought 'Your' insurance via Kayak . . . they had NO record of it and pushed the fear and anxiety buttons all through checkout. Not cool, now why I use Kayak.

We book a car to pick up and drop off at the airport. We arrive with our confirmation number, they told us that we did not book directly with them and that we need to pick up the car at the north side of Vegas, which the sale person proceeds to tell us by the time we got a taxi and go there it was going to cost us a lot of money. They provided a car for us at much higher price that we we have book on line. I believe we got scammed. We know we book the car to pick up and return at the airport. But anyways I will not used your website to book again.

When booking my rental I went with a cheaper option in the town of Vegas rather than the airport budget pickup location. Nowhere on the list did it mention they closed at 5pm. while I would have made it on time to pick up the rental, my flight was delayed and the store was closed. I had to go back to the airport and get a car rental which of course cost me upwards of 3x the amount that I had originally booked. I do understand that it's my responsibility to confirm/verify, but when booking this car I was also under the assumption the budget rental that I would be getting this from was at LAS, and not a random budget in town. Either way, disappointed. Not happy with kayak or budget, will go other avenues for booking and will probably just suffer driving to and from work, because being in the car for 13 hours twice a month seems less painful than these on the fly issues that seem to happen *To the person reading this I'm sorry you have to listen to my rant, obviously it's not your fault and you get to hear angry customers rant which I understand is stressful, but this is more focused on the way kayak works and budget not being very budget-ey*.

There was no car available when we went to pick up. They should have at least notified us on the day so that we didn’t have to take uber round trip. Besides, they somehow charged us cancelation fee (& insurance).

The staff knew I would be dropping off the car around three or 4 o’clock, they close at 1 o’clock no big deal but they do not maintain their equipment and therefore do not have a dropbox for the keys and I leave town until Wednesday morning so what do I do with the car

Poor check in - vehicle wasn’t ready. EMPTY GAS TANK???!! Pushy on insurance. Vehicle smelled like cigarettes. Hood popped open on I-15. Couldn’t connect to Bluetooth. Very disappointed - considering the good service I typically get at Enterprise. Don’t recommend.
