Cheap Car Rentals in The Strip, Las Vegas

There was no car for us even if we had a reservation. The company didn't offer any alternative.

They didn't have any cars.

We were told that a reservation does NOT guarantee a car. After talking to customer service where to pick up the car, we took a 50 USD taxi to the location to pick up the car. The representative then told us there were no cars available and closed his booth and walked away. After speaking with customer service again they told us that we had to pick up the car at a different location (another 50 USD taxi) and pay twice the cost to pick it up at the airport.

The staff were excellent, and we really appreciate the kindness!

How come the price changed from 450 to 1110 that is a stilling you guy used us because you know that we need the vehicle

I was not able to pick up the car at the selected location because there was no one to help me at the Avis front desk. I’ve wanted for 40 mintiese, called multiple times but no one appeared or answered the phone.

When we arrived at the Las Vegas rental center at McCarran airport, Avis was the only company to have long lines. Took me over an hour to get my car. They should have foreseen this and had more agents on duty.

Everything was great until I dropped off the vehicle in Reno. The person in Vegas told me that I needed to drop the car off at 8am in Reno. I asked if it would be possible to drop it off at noon instead. She looked and showed me that price would only be about $3 more. I went on my way thinking that it would be fine to drop off the car at noon. When I arrived at the office in Reno the person there pointed out that I was 4 hours late and said I'd have to pay for an extra day which was actually more than what I had paid for the entire week that tI had the car for. I told her what the person in Vegas said and she explained that it was Vegas' contract and she couldn't do anything about it. It was really frustrating that there wasn't better communication between the two offices. I'm hoping to be refunded the $200 extra dollars for the extra day.

Pick up was awful! You can tell they were busy. Came to pick up at 12 once through the line, we waited. Got our car at almost 1:30. (Which doesn’t change the return time just the time with the car) we had to point out most of the scratches, you could tell the outdoor guy was not happy to be there. The car was given to us at a 1/8 tank. Asked about it, since we signed something saying we would return it full, shouldn’t it be full? He said we can go back in and dispute if we want to, at this point, exhausted with the process we took the car. At time of return our questions were answered. We just needed to fill it up to whichever level we got it and there was a 200$ holding charge that no one told us about at pickup. Pick up was AWEFUL! But drop off was great! They were super helpful at the drop off!

Guy made sure car was clean and the Toyota van was awesome

All of the employees were soooo helpful and kind. They were very busy when I picked the car up but all went very quickly. When I returned the car it was empty but again everyone was nice. I loved my experience and am looking forward to use this location again.

No car was available even though I had a reservation. Had to get a car from another company. Very long line and only 2 clerks and one left and wasn't replaced for 20 minutes. Will not rent from Dollar again.

booked car, paid for car . Had cab from airport drop me off to rental place to be told there are no cars available. May take weeks to get refunded, Had to have money wired to me to rent a car from another party next day.
