Worst experience ever. They didn’t have the car. And we were moving. They contacted me by text the day before I was supposed to pick it up. I will never use hertz again. Then they couldn’t refund my money and kayak didn’t either. So I had to use discover to dispute it. Horrible experience

I was driving to Pasadena when my car started malfunctioning. I called my son and he found me a rental car to pick up in Pasadena on Arroyo Seco . My car barely got there but I managed to make it and when I went inside to rent my car the man said we don't have any cars. I showed him my reservation and he checked his computer and said this happens all the time with these discount services like Kayak and others. They rent cars and we don't have the inventory. The rental place did not even have a bathroom for me to use. Nothing but a waste of time. Your system is unreliable. I won't use it again. I took the train home. JC from San Diego
