Cheap Car Rentals in Westchester, Los Angeles

we made a reservation and then walked in and there was no one at the desk. so we went and found a guy and he said "We don't have any cars anywhere in the country" and we said we had a car reserved and he was ANGRY at us, and said "you can make a thousand reservations, it doesn't make any difference" so we went to enterprise. we weren't even mean to him.

This office is closed from 12-1 pm, which isn't advertised when you book your car in advance. So, when I reserved a car at noon, I had to wait an hour to actually claim it. The vehicle had stains on the seat.

Great car + value!

The line was three hours long and I had to get an uber instead. I am so upset about this experience. I had to pay for a car that I didn't even use.

Pick-up took way too long, almost two hours through a line that weaved back and forth. When we got to the agent, we were told that this was how they kept prices down—high volume and not enough staff. Unacceptable with no warning or some way of dealing with all the reservations. Terrible!

2 hour line then they were out of cars and had to wait another few hours for them to get more.

There was no cars when we arrived! Got dumped at other rental car company location without even help us out! Would never rent from them ever again! Horrible experience !

When I arrived to pick up my reserved vehicle I was informed there were no more cars left for rent and was left without a vehicle and no help was given.

Midway LAX did not consider my Visa credit card that’s affiliated with a major American department store a “traditional credit card” and did not accept it for payment. Unfortunately I do not use credit cards and only have one Visa that I use literally everywhere. Additionally, Midway LAX does not accept Apple Pay which was my other form of payment. Ended up leaving without a car and spending almost an hour on the phone trying to get a refund from third party car insurance vendor that I had already paid for. I guess that’s what happens when you try to be cheap and use a sh** company.

You need to take public trasnprtation to get to their office. The public bus is packed and hauling your luggage there is a pain. You are dropped off on the side of the road from the LA bus and wait for ACE to come pick you up (hopefully). Other than the desk agents, the employees were very helpful. And on drop off - I had to take an Uber back to the airport. Very poor and difficult experience.

Virtual check in was a breeze. Dropoff was also very simple, literally park the car and leave. Price was the cheapest out of our group of friends and we had the nicest vehicle. Only complaint is the vehicle had a lot of scratches, not really a biggie for us.

These guys are scammers. They refuse to honor our prepaid reservation. They tried to charge us more than double. Ended up leaving the car and taking an Uber

Our plane was about 15 minutes behind schedule. Then we waited with rental car pickup for about 30 minutes for a shuttle that never came. I called multiple numbers and finally got a person on the phone and was told I needed to be with the hotel shuttles in a totally different spot instead of with the rental shuttles. They also let me know they had already given away our vehicle since it was about 30-45 min after our original pickup time and they had no other vans. They didn’t make it clear how to get there and then made zero effort to contact us before giving away our car. Turned the first day into a nightmare where we spent over 3 hours just trying to get a vehicle and ended up at a rental center an hour away from the airport. That means an extra $200 in Uber fees was spent and departure day was also a nightmare and we had to leave our hotel at 4am in order to make flights.

Kayak didn't forward my information to the rental company which delayed my pickup.

They say there’s a shuttle but it never comes. We finally had to catch the budget shuttle which drops across the street after almost 2 hours of waiting. Then we got there and we were given our car and it was so dirty, old and stained. For the price, it’s to be expected so it’s hard to complain but it would have taken someone 30 minutes to at least clean the inside and out and I wouldn’t have been so upset.
