Cheap Car Rentals in Coconut Grove, Miami

Worst experience ever. Do not rent a car in that location; the manager is rude, and the employees are not helpful. I had to wait an hour to get my car.

The staff here were very friendly. The car was dirty, pieces of it missing inside and not best shape outside. Very disappointing product.

The main issue was that I booked a car for Miami with full expectation that it was the Miami AIRPORT location. I feel completely misled by the KAYAK site when I was booking the car. When we arrived it was evening and the airport Hertz said they had no reservation for us and that it was made for the downtown location. I had no idea there was a downtown location or that I had mistakenly made the reservation for that location instead of the airport. This information should be made blatantly obvious when you reserve a car. It should scream out to the user to avoid this type of stressful error. Of course it ended up costing me more money to book another car at the airport last minute ($140 more) and I blame KAYAK for this. I will proabably never use KAYAK for car rental booking again.

The first car I rented smelled like urine and shook on the Highway. To Avis’ credit they changed out the car without any hassle and the second car was much better, My initial check in at Dadeland station was poor. The computer did not work so it made the process longer.

Pick-up and drop off was very efficient. The car however was stinking of cigarette, was not properly clean, and the drivers seatbelt buckle was not working properly and kept going off id you didn't press it very hard, which we thought was very dangerous. Also the car we got consumed a lot of fuel, was very inefficient.

There is absolutely NO lumbar support in the front seats of the Toyota Corolla we drove all the way back from Florida City, FL to Traverse City, MI. To be honest, it was the worst car to sit in as I was a front seat passenger and I have lower back/hip issues (not real serious) but by the time I got out of the vehicle after 6-8 hours riding (plus at least 3 pit stops each step of the journey because of the lack of any support of my back), I was crippled to the point that I had to hold on to step rails in order to pull myself up some outdoor steps. I would highly recommend to your customers to NOT rent one of these cars unless they have NO back problems. Not satisfied at all, especially for the price of said vehicle to even begin with!

They did not have the car I reserved, they gave me a lower car category.
