Cheap Car Rentals in Lachine, Montreal

Easy experience, great staff!

No one at counter at 10:55pm. Couldn’t get car. We were not only party. Next morning we were told that they canceled reservation and had no cars available. Talked with hertz in person downtown Montreal. Same story, but added they were short staffed so they couldn’t help us. Thankfully found a car at another company for one way rental.

Requested Car was NOT available - so they gave me a SMALLER car for the same price ... Now that I've returned the car it's impossible to get a receipt [dropoff location was closed at time of return].

They were very slow with each person in the line ahead of me, finally my turn, They couldn’t get the “System”to work after having asked me for my license and credit card 3 separate times. After the rebooted the computer they were finally able to print out my rental agreement. Finally the paper work is done and they tell me “we’re just waiting for your car maybe 30 minutes “ after waiting more than 45 minutes I decided to cancel everything and get an Uber or something. That’s when they say “oh no your car is here” they give me the keys and a spot number of where I would find the dirty smelly car I’ve been getting jerked around to get.

Long check-in process. So have time. Otherwise everything was perfect

A bit long to get a car (45 minutes). Apart from that all was good. Nice staff friendly and helpful.

No information about on the 1500$ security deposit.

Everything was done poorly. Customer service, cleaning of car. Whatever policy you booked through kayak is not going to be the same when you get there as they add on km fees, increased deposit (1500$) and they say that this policy was clearly written despite not being found anywhere when I booked through Kayak. Don’t rent a car from here, pay extra and get it from a well known company like enterprise or Avis or anywhere else.

Worst place to rent a car.. will never go there again. Waited for an hour at the airport for the shuttle.. Worst customer service when I got there..1500$ deposit on the credit card.. Rude employees.. nobody speaks French. You pay cheap for a cheap service.. car was dirty.
