Liked: Vehicle was what we had reserved. Done better: I had tried to include insurance when making reservation. However, at pick up was not insured.

Excellent from the start to the end.

I loved the car I just wish it was a little cheaper. And I wasn’t told about the $300 they hold back while you take the car. Luckily, I got someone to loan me the money till I got paid to pay them back.

Friendly staff

Drop off was easy. Pick up was a long affair that involved a slow network/downed computers, having to scan my license three times before it worked, and then waiting 20 minutes in line to leave the rental car area because only 1 of 6 lanes was open and staffed.

I rented the car in the midst of the bomb cyclone and subsequent Southwest Airlines meltdown during the Christmas holidays which led to tens of thousands of passengers to seek alternative transportation. This led to rapid turnover of cars. The first car I was assigned had a nearly flat tire, so I had to stand in a long line to replace it. The car wash system was inoperable, so the car did not get cleaned. The car wash issue was weather related. Otherwise, it was a fun car to drive from Nashville, Tennessee to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was a Toyota hybrid, which saved on gas. My experience overall was good, considering that it came in the middle of a weather disaster, which led to a host of related problems. I was just grateful to have a car, and I will definitely rent from them again should I need to rent a car in the future. Budget staff performed admirably well during an unprecedented crisis.

Staff at the counter were friendly fast and nice. Car was not so clean and the windshield wipers were torn and worn out which I did not know because it was not raining when I rented the car. The next day while driving in rain for 5 hours it was a problem. Cleaning and maintenance is a problem. Counter staff amazing.

CAr rental was more than agreed to. The van back seats were broke - so could don't put in luggage in back- which was why we rented this vehicle. Cruise did not work.

No Dollar rep was available for Pick up or Drop off. Had to end up getting a completely different car than I paid for. Never using Dollar ever again, and I am blacklisting them from my company.

was upgraded immediately when the original vehicle wasn't available. Easy process at the desk and pickup and drop off at Nashville airport.

Quick and easy

Hertz declined to provide me the car that I reserved online, stating that they “stopped accepting online reservations” due to the historic SWA failure. They should be ashamed of themselves. Will never use their company againz

The guy that served me was very helpful and polite. Only negative was the car did not have a full tank.

I showed up for my confirmed car reservation and they had no more cars!!! They had given it away. I had a huge business meeting and it took me 2 hours to find another car - all were sold out at airport. I will not use Kayak or Payless again!!!!

No clue where Payless desk was in Nashville. Not a single sign anywhere. Wasted 20 minutes walking aimlessly looking for their desk which ended up being Budget/Avis desk.
