Drop off was quite a problem as they had no parking spots available as instructed to park the car in those spots and no one working at the time not couldn’t get any time of help on what to do over the phone either. That took a whole lot of extra minutes and we almost missed our flight. On top of that, I never got my receipt back after the opening hours so decided to call to make sure all was ok and they said the reservation number I had which was my hertz receipt number given by them wasn’t pulling up my information, was someone else. They couldn’t find my reservation with the number they provided me nor my drivers license nor my last name. Finally only by my credit card charge they found me but said it was a different reservation number than I had - which was my hertz receipt tho. And then they said it was still an open reservation as if I still had the car when I absolutely didn’t. So they still haven’t checked it out and finalized my rental. By 11pm I finally got the receipt email sent after calling them abs going through all that around 3pm and car was dropped off at 5am.

Didn’t have the correct vehicles for what was requested, clerks make up rules as they go to make their jobs easier. After fact checking and proving them wrong they would still argue. Won’t return to Alamo at that location.

I couldn't believe how poor the service was at the Wilmington Airport Alamo Car Rental location. I had a confirmation number and was on my way to pick up the car when Nicole from the rental company called to tell me that they didn't have a car for me. I told that I had a confirmation and she informed me that didn't matter. She made no attempt to help me and offered no solution, just told me there wasn't a car for me. Lesson is to never trust a confirmation from Alamo.

When we arrived for pickup there was no one at the counter. A sign said he was out moving cars. We waited 15 mins for his return. We had reservations for a car but was told he had none available. No further explanation. Was not friendly or apologetic. Simply stated ‘I don’t have any cars’. His suggestion was to check with other companies & see if we could find something. Upon further questioning, he told us he had 2 cars due back at 6. Our reservation was for 5. We waited and a car was returned at 6:05 so we received that one. It was filthy. Sticky from spilt drinks. The car was not cleaned for us. We literally signed paperwork and handed us the keys for the car. We asked for him to go look at the car to be sure nothing was wrong with it, no damage, before we took it. He reluctantly went out and did that. And we took the car. Return to a different location.. just as unfriendly. Paperwork was signed. And we left. No inspection of the car.

I used Budget to rent my car from. When I went to pick up the car, I was 2 hours early so they were going to charge me a lot more. Ok, that’s fine but when I dropped it off 2 hours early, they only took $5.00 off. It thought it was a little pricey for a small size car. I had it for six days and it was over $500.00. I think I will shop around more when booking a vehicle. Also, there were eight people in front of me when I dropped off and only one person working so I was in line for about 25 minutes before I got to the counter. The person was helpful and knowledgeable though. Other then that, things went well. The car was pretty new so no issues there.

Staff was very friendly. They did not have record of my economy car reservation from Kayak. They were able to place me in a Ford F150 instead of an economy sized car that was ordered. The lady stated that 3rd party vendors information doesn't always come through with details.

Have the car size as requested.

Not much.

Once the staff showed up at the booth they were friendly and helpful. But I had to wait 25 minutes and call the person since they were "moving cars around". Then there were "computer problems", so the pick off took way much longer than it should have. I was told that the "manager's special" that I reserved was an F-150 pick up truck. There was nothing on my reservation that said that so I couldn't dispute it - so in order to get a smaller car, I was charged an additional $10 per day. Plus I was tired from traveling all day, it had already taken way to long to pick up a car, so I didn't argue. I think they plan things that way.

The entire process from beginning to end was excellent. The price was right, the customer service was exceptional, and upgrade that we got was wonderful! We drove a Rav 4 and not only was it comfortable for our trip, it got roughly 30 miles to the gallon. It was roomy enough for all 3 of us plus luggage with quick response and great turning radius. We had a terrible experience last year with a competitor and kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But Enterprise was exceptional through the entire process and honored what the promised and more. We will never rent from another company and highly recommend these guys.

I received a call left on vm as I was on a plane enroute that my reservation was cancelled as Avis had no cars available. I checked with the customer rep upon arrival and was informed no vehicles had been available for 2 weeks. I should have been made aware of this when I made the reservation. I asked the customer rep why I wasn’t made aware and she said she didn’t know she didn’t make the rules. Extremely rude. And this was at 8 pm in the evening. I paid $75 to get to my residence.

Everything was fine very smooth... but no Avis or Budge space to return car at end of rental. Initial communication could have been slightly better...almost too smooth, leaving out a few details and questions about insurance choices. Otherwise, everything was great
