Cheap Car Rentals in West Rock, New Haven

The only difficulty I had was my secretary booked the car under my nickname Jack. My ID says my formal name John. They just didn't know the nickname for John is Jack and even though my photo ID's and passport have my picture and name John, it took them quite some time and I had to find a card that said Jack on it. Fortunately I had a Costco card with that name and my picture, or else I may have been in real trouble and seriously delayed. Lesson? use the name of my ID on all bookings

Customer service was on point, good work! Nicer /Newer vehicles would be appreciated.

Avis in New Haven was excellent. We rented two 12 passenger vans and they were very clean and well maintained. The staff at Avis were also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely rent a car from them again!

Wasn’t able to rent a car because i didn’t have a credit card but was going to pay with my debit card or cash ans I wasn’t allowed and they didn’t have the car i reserved anyways so never actually rented a car from them

Customer service was top notch. Adis was particularly patient and helpful.

The clerk in hamden said that he did not honor the contract in third party in advance and refused to give a rent car with the smae price as in the first contract

Retuned car after they were closed, a few hours later than scheduled. They couldn’t have rented it to someone else anyway, my scheduled drop off time was their closing time. Still charged me for the whole next day. They don’t do the right thing by their customers. Greedy.

I booked the car and day before they told me they didn't have one available after giving me a confirmation number. I won't use budget again
