It was easy once it wasn't confusing.

It was confusing. Need better instructions as to what to do with the cars after entering the garage. Block ff the first couple of stalls with arrows pointing to where you want the cars during business hours.

The dropoff point at XNA is not very well marked. Luckily it was really early in the morning and I was able to back up to the rental lane.

Ease of pick up and drop off.

I had a problem with a 70 $ difference in the price online versus in-store. However, the nice gentleman behind the counter adjusted the price!

Tons of storage.

The van was dirty. When I called to let them know they offered to clean it but I was already home and didn't want to go back. I ended up cleaning it at home. It had chunks of mud inside the van. It looked like someone had taken the mini van off roaring. If I could give a zero for cleanliness, I would. The windshield was dirty and had chips in it. When I called they said it was from a hail storm. I get it, they can't control the storm. But they can fix the issue prior to renting out the car. Wipers were in terrible shape and there was no windshield washer fluid. Car handled poorly at highway speeds. Needs at minimum balance if not alignment. Tires are wearing abnormally and the van pulls to one side. The antenna on the radio didn't work. And despit stating it had satellite radio, it didn't. When I told the agent at return, he didn't really seem to care or want to remedy it. They did give me $50 credit for cleaning the van. I will not rent from Hertz again.

The amount charged for filling the gas tank was ridiculous. It amounted to $10 per gallon.

Website easy to use for last-minute rental. No waiting at pickup or dropoff. Charged for 1.5 gallons even though filled up half mile before dropoff. Customer service removed charge, they say. But calling them was unnecessary hassle. Also failed to inform us at pickup of extra driver charge

When we picked up the car in Arkansas, it reeked of cigarette smoke. I realize there is only so much the car rental company can do to get the smell removed, I regret I didn't request another car that didn't have that smell.

Everything about this rental was great except for the dropoff situation at Bentonvillle airport. There were no Thrifty signs directing you where to go and no Thrifty employee was there to meet you, as I'm used to at larger airports. I parked in a Thrifty space and brought my keys inside to the rental counter, where the friendly employee helped check me back in. It all worked out in the end, but was way too confusing even for a pretty experienced traveler like myself (possibly for exactly that reason - it didn't work the same way it does at major airports).

Who knew that they do not accept debit cards for payment unless you have a "return flight ticket"? Really upset that I could not rent a car because I don't have a "credit" card. I guess my experience wasn't exactly "poor" it was non-existent!

Great car, counter friendly, price was reasonable.

After checking in with the counter, there was no lot attendant and it was difficult finding the car, also no one there with check in and no instruction on how to proceed. Called call center and they were rude and not helpful at all. Pay a little more and get better service if that is important to you.

It’s was a complete failure. When I went to the counter the rep told me to produce the same credit card that was used to make the reservation, I explained to her that my girlfriend is the one that did the online prepaid reservation and I didn’t have access to it. I provided her with my debit card but the rep said they were not allowed to accept it. I was left stranded at the airport and had to pay $200 for a Uber to my destination.

I had to cancel this car because of COVID. There was not a problem with Avis. They were very nice about it. I had purchased the extra insurance and was told I would receive the money back for that. Haven’t seen it yet.

Nothing at all

Hidden sales tax of 22.5%. Not in Kayak quote and according to my research not the law in Arkansas. Tried to resolve over the phone and Avis rep totally useless. Second bad experience in a row with Avis. Never again!

The friendliest staff I've ever encountered while renting a car. The cars have always operated well, no surprises on unpleasantries. The pickup process has been a little inconsistent, varying from Okay to Incredible.

I went to go get my car from the pickup lot and could not find it for a while. The lot had a non-sequential numbering system that made it difficult to find spot 46.
