Cheap Car Rentals in Araby Cove, Palm Springs

Waited in line for over an hour. 20 ppl in front of me and probably 75 behind me. Gave up and booked Avis for the same money and the next counter over. Walked away with my keys while my spot in line was still 10 ppl from the front. Tried to cancel the reservation twice phone rang out the first time and was hung up on the second time. Last time I ever book budget

Long long lines to get the car in Palm Springs. Never experienced anything like this. Car itself was great.

I picked up the car at 11:00 and could not see the small dent on the fender (dark blue). Also, found a lot of broken safety glass in the third row seat. I had small children to worry about even after I vacuumed it out, there was still glass everywhere.

The value of the deal was good. Gas mileage was good. The attendant “Jay” was accommodating and helpful…..That’s pretty much where it ended. The location was in no man’s land, and no shuttle service from or to the airport. The vehicle, a Toyota Carolla, was worn out and NOISY. I don’t know if it was from the tires or what, but I could hardly hear the radio, and when on the highway, and conversation was difficult. My wife’s Toyota Tacoma with off road tires rides like a limo compared to our rental. The vehicle is tired and needs attention. Oh, and the “engine maintenance needed soon” light kept coming on. The bottom line is that it got us from point A to point B without breaking down and it was tolerable.

The desk clerk at Avis was friendly and efficient. The vehicle lot was convenient and easy to navigate. I had no problem getting on the road.

$15 cab or $10 Uber to get to rental place. Saved 50% plus off site over airport pickup.

Line up at the counter was long, but three attendants processed people quickly. Drop off was easy and done efficiently. I was told I would be emailed my receipt.

Poor service, 25 people on line to get their car and only 2 working, waited over and hour for the car

Car had no GPS, was higher mileage and somewhat tired. Rode well, good on fuel. Size worked out well.

Need to know to take cab to off-site location. Rate reflects the savings of airport rental. Return and shuttle back to airport very timely.

I made a mistake in not reading the fine print when reserving our vehicle and the gal at the airport worked with us and truly went out of her way to be more than helpful! We truly appreciated her!

1) Anthony was nice and helpful. 2) Rental car had expired tags and we were pulled over and ticketed. We took it back and were told to come back after 5 because they were too busy. That was not OK
