Easy to pick up at the airport. Staff were very helpful. Spoke English. Had a problem getting into the gate when returning. My guy came out and talked w the responder in French and fixed it

We arrived on an overnight flight like many international travelers. There was no one staffing the counter. We found out later that there was only one person working, and he was checking people in, filling gas in cars, and walking people to the cars. If took over an hour to get our car even though we were second in line. Conversely, the return was easy. But I think we got lucky in that someone spotted us in the parking lot and checked us in.

Pick up and drop off easy peasy. No lines and we were in our rental in no time after arriving Tahiti after 9 pm. Wish they didn't charge separately for miles, makes for an expensive rental. Good thing Tahiti isn't that big :)

Very efficient process. The Hertz counter person was very helpful. Her English was excellent, and she had great suggestions. The car (a Renault 108) was small and fuel efficient. Not the most powerful engine, but adequate. I was glad to be driving something that small around Papeete. We didn't realize until later that the back seat folds down otherwise carrying 2 large suitcases might have been a problem. All in all, a great value and a very plesant experience.
