Cheap Car Rentals in Pensacola

The SUV reeked of marijuana for one week and Hertz said they could not deliver a replacement car. They said I would have to drive over an hour each way to return the car. The car had a low air pressure message the entire time. Also, when I rented the website said the car was at Pensacola Airport, but it was at PNS HLE. I had to spend $40 to Uber back and forth.

The emphatic the pick up location was extremely helpful and walked me out the the rental area!

I didn't have a happy experience AT ALL. I rented a 15 passenger van 2 months PRIOR to my pick up date. Something went wrong and they didn't have what I asked to rent, BUT I COULD HAVE A 12 PASSENGER VAN FOR THE PRICE OF THE 15, SINCE THE RATES INCREASED. Not once was I notified that there was a problem, not one apology from anyone on the counter. For my so called inconvenience, I was told to bring the van back empty (not filled with gas) and I should just be happy I got any van because I showed up for pickup at 2:30pm instead of 12pm. I was late due to a flight delay in St Louis, MO but you had the option to cancel my rental after 2 hours late. JUST WOW. When I did return the van before my scheduled time, I was charged $206.79 for 20.7 gallons at $9.99/gallon. I would have filled the van up had I known that! I will never use Budget or Avis again. I don't know why I bothered writing this. You got your money, NO ONE CARES!

The guy who checked me in, Archie, was excellent. Provided helpful info about the area and was pleasant and professional.

Car stunk of cigarette smoke. It was a bigger process than we imagined getting the car at the airport and once we did, we didn’t feel like going back and asking for another SUV so we just drove with the windows down a lot.

If we got the car that was advertised! Ended up with a non SUV

They charged me a fuel charge automatically and had I not noticed would end up paying for it.

Did not know I would be charged for a booster seat until drop off. Was told just to grab one when asked… did not know there were additional charges. Could have bought one for that price! Outrageous

At pickup at 10am, I was assured I had the car for 24 hours but could drop it off early in the afternoon. I was NOT informed by Kayak or the rental agency that the dropoff location would close early in the afternoon and have zero after-hours options. This caused me to miss several work-related events and fruitlessly drive across the city to another location that was also closed. When I finally was able to return it the following morning at 9am (after paying for unplanned overnight parking and missing more important events in the process), I was charged for two days despite being assured the rental was for 24 hours. I also had to pay for gas because it had gone down from full and I had no time to refill the gas tank for the second time in a row. Terrible experience, and I will think twice before using in the future.
