It takes way too long to pick up the car, especially considering if you're coming from the airport, it's already 25 minutes out of the way.

Pick up took 50 minutes. I was told that someone had called in sick so the only lady there had to go clean each car before it could get rented. Then the manager came in and explained the car cleaner had hand surgery and was out for weeks (so the lack of car cleaner was entirely foreseeable.) They also told me they didn't have my reservation despite me having a kayak confirmation email with a Hertz confirmation number. It very easily could have been a lot better customer service.

When I went to pick up the car, eventhough it had been prepaid, they told me I could not rent it unless my credit card had a "chip" in it, which mine did not. Then they wanted to switch credit cards and when I agreed, they wanted to charge me $150 extra.

I picked up the SUV at the airport and they required me to sign the sheet that has the checklist for any damage to the vehicle? This is before I even see the vehicle that is parked a few hundred yards from the building? They need to have a person drive it up to the building and go over it before driving away! Once i got it to the peoples house I was picking up, I opened the back gate and noticed some previous damage from another rental?? NOW WHAT AM I TO DO ?? How do I prove I did not do it since I have the vehicle in my posession? A real bummer! I did buy the insurance, which by the way, is way too expensive..if they charge it to that insurance it will be fraud ?? Also the vehicle was very dirty and water spotted on the exterior which in turn makes it difficult to see any damage before driving out of the lot!!

The woman working at the front desk (for the last 15 years) has been sooooo friendly and accommodating. It was an uncomplicated rental process--I got off the plane, went to the desk, went thru the form process easily, picked up my wheels and headed to my destination. Early,early morning drop-off was just as quick and uncomplicated. The car--a Nissan Altima--was clean, peppy. Budget Peoria Airport is def. the "go-to" for rentals!

Very frustrating to arrive at the counter to pick up my vehicle and find that they have no reservation for me. This is KAYAK’s fault snd not Enterprise. When I booked, it was for at the Peoria Airport. But after not finding my reservation, they looked closer at my itinerary and found that my car was at the downtown location. By this time, that location was closed. They treated me kindly at the airport and I received an upgrade - but because of renting there, I had to pay additional because of airport taxes. Enterprise was GREAT but KAYAK certainly messed up the reservation! No wonder they had the better price - reserving somewhere other than where I needed it! Shame on KAYAK!!!

The employee at the airport pickup in Peoria on Friday February 18th at 2:00pm was not helpful at all!!!! However, the rest of my experience was excellent. The workers at Pioneer Road Enterprise were great!! Special shout out to Christopher for calling to check up on how I was doing on Saturday. Noah from the Macomb Enterprise was a God send!!!. He came to a parking lot to help get me car started!!! Thank you Noah!!!! I wish I could have exchanged cars in Macomb for the weekend, but that office is closed Saturday and Sunday. The drop off at the airport was great on Monday at 1:00pm. The woman handling my return was so very helpful!!!

Wasn't allowed to rent a car because I do not have a major credit card, even though I had already pre-paid for the entire rental up front. Ended up leaving without a rental car, causing my trip to be ruined.
