I had a reservation that I paid for to pick up a vehicle at 6pm. I received a phone call while I was on my flight saying they close at 5pm. I couldn’t pick up the rental car on arrival and no one from hertz was able to assist me. Then the next morning I called to see if I could pick up the vehicle and they told me they didn’t have one available. Again, I had already paid for the reservation. Very frustrating.

I entered PHL as pick up and they made the reservation in downtown Philadelphia. I had to cancel the reservation and make a new one at a much higher price. I would not have chosen Hertz at that price and availability but was already stranded at the airport location with my family and so had no choice.

Would no honor booking location and time. Ended up not getting my car got a day. Was unable to adjust my drop off location as well… not traveler friendly

Long wait picking up and dropping off, I suppose due to changes as a result of COVID-19; my car didn’t receive any special cleaning though.
I would have liked someone to do a walk-around before I left so I would have felt comfortable that no surprises would pop up.

Staff was communicative and clear
Pickup took ~45mins because car had not been cleaned. Even after cleaning, car was dirty inside and smelled like smoke + excessive air freshener.

They did not honor our reservation and gave the car we reserved away. We had to rent from another location further away for double the price. Staff at facility was rude. Enterprise never called me back when I called for customer service. Terrible.
