Cheap Car Rentals in Rittenhouse, Philadelphia

Awful. My car was not ready when I arrived to pick it up- and the staff was not communicating their plan to resolve the situation. I finally got a car after sitting in their lobby for almost 3 hours just waiting with very little apologies or contact with the staff. During that time, the staff shared very little information and were just hanging out and laughing, playing on their phones, etc. and making no effort to even explain the situation to all of us waiting. I was unsure if I was even going to get a car at the end of all this. Most people I was waiting with ended up canceling their reservations with Hertz. When the car was finally ready, no one walked through it with me so I ended up being billed for a dent that was there before I even got the car. Very disappointed and I will never rent from Hertz again.

The price was the best thing, but the whole experience was easy.

They had 1 employee working when I picked the car up. There were 3 renters ahead of me. I stood in line for about 90 minutes. Drop off was much easier, fortunately.

While I didn’t actually rent a car through Enterprise, they were kind enough to give me a call on Thursday (before my Saturday reservation) to verify pick and to remind me they closed at 1 pm. That was a little confusing as my plane did not arrive until 12:50 and if it was delayed at all they would be closed before I got there. Even though I requested a car for the airport my reservation was changed to a downtown location. That would not work out at all. Had to reserve another car with a different company. Thank goodness I did not pay in advance.

I didn’t get the car and they said they’ll cancel the booking and I get refund which never happened. Hate kayak and Alamo

Though the system allowed me to make a reservation to pick up a car after 5:00, when I arrived the office was closed. I had to scramble to find alternate arrangements with another company at another location.

Not allow a reservation where cars are unavailable

Never got the rental because no one never answered thier phone to make sure I was able to get a car for one way! It was my way home from the airport.

Shockingly bad cleanliness. Had to try and clean car myself, but was so dirty that I didn’t want to touch any buttons in the car and th sort on the seats marked my clothing. Tried to return the car to the next Avis/budget branch a few miles down the road, but they had no stock, so had to clean it as best as possible and continue. Never using this brand again.

Kia Soul wasn’t available and the seats in the type of Kia we had weren’t as comfortable as the Soul. Otherwise, it was a good experience all around,
