I booked rental online they refused to take my debit card I was stuck with no rental car my entire it was just awful the workers wasn't nice at all or helpful at all to resolve the issue

Clean car that was comfortable to drive. Check in and check out were smooth. No complaints. Would rent again.

The car had old windshield wipers that were falling apart. The air pressue light came on and when I filled up the tires I noticed that all of them had different PSIs.

I waited over 20 minutes for the Hertz shuttle to pickup from the arrivals terminal in Philadelphia. It was raining and cold. All of the other rental companies had shuttle buses that went by at least 5-6 times while we waited for the Hertz bus. I tried to call the Philly airport Hertz location but nobody picked up and it went to voicemail. Eventually, I convinced another rental car bus driver to drop us off near (he said he wasn't allowed to drive on the Hertz lot) the Hertz rental center. So, after waiting almost half an hour in the cold rain, we were dropped off and had to walk the last few hundred yards through a downpour to the rental office. Renting and paying wasn't a big deal but there was no introduction to the Tesla controls (I've never driven one before) so I had to park and come inside to request the person to show me how to operate the wipers. Overall, it was frustrating and a huge waste of time waiting for them after a long travel day.

I showed up to pick up my car on Friday and there was a paper sign in the window saying they were closed early and I should come back on Monday. An employee at the location told me to go to the other Hertz location at the airport and they’d honor the reservation - they of course didn’t and I had to re-book a new contract at full price (a $500+ difference). Never again.

I went to the Hertz at the airport and they refused to switch my reservation(which was at essington ave) which was already paid for but because it was at a different location they would not help me. I was stranded at the airport with no car.

We did not receive an invoice at time of rental. The computers wern’t Working, but they said we would receive an email. We never did and when I checked my credit card, we were billed for $153, instead of the estimate of $100 for the 2 day rental. We did not upgrade our rental. Also, we were told to go to a certain parking space to pick up the car. When we go5 there, someone was already in the car, so we had to go back to the counter and she gave us another one. Very unorganized.

The pick up and drop off process was seamless. The tabk was full, and everyone was very efficient. The car could have been a little cleaner, and they should probably stop renting Kias, given the current issues with theft. Overall though, great service and everything went well.

Booked a Camery or equivalent and got a beat up Corolla. Carpet was worn and stained Not great.

Booked a 6pm pick up at PHL. Arrived on time to no shuttle service. Called the counter and it turns out they close at 6pm on a weekday(!!!!). Was told after a 45 minute hold with customer service that Avis would have my reservation. Got to Avis and was told by the agent and the supervisor that I was the 7th person this week with this issue and that they don’t have access to Payless’ systems and can’t look up my reservation. Wound up paying for another rental with Avis just to get out of there. Won’t be using them ever again

Our check-in process at the facility was very smooth. The car was perfect for our needs and a very good price. The only problem was the shuttle from the airport to the rental car facility took a long time. We watched the shuttles for the other rental car places pass several times before ours arrived.

I used to hand wipe when I got in the car and wipe the steering wheel and it turned totally black Otherwise the car was just fine

The Eagles and the Phillies were playing the same weekend so it was a bit crazy Saturday but the Dollar/Thrifty crew did a great job getting everyone a car.

The shuttle didn’t show for pickup. Waited a half hour (another lady waited an hour), ended up taking an Avis/Budget shuttle and walking from there. The dollar shuttle was sitting by the door with the engine running, but didn’t move while I was there. I was one of two customers and the staff was annoyed to have to put their phones down to help me. They told me to take the car in spot 29, it was the wrong car, the agent at the exit said they had been doing it all day. I will not be using Dollar at PHL ever again.

Took an hour to get through the line to pickup car. Once we got it, it was not clean. Check engine light was on, no window washer fluid.. overall very poor.

I had a bad experience with desk

Car was dirty, dented, and not a full size. Staff was unprofessional and unhelpful.

Customer service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Great experience.

I had a choice of full sizes cars, but wasn't familiar with the models. The Nissan I chose was not the most comfortable seat for me, but the others didn't complain.
